Ambient Hardcore - episode 1 on Lithium Radio

In this monthly format we will focus on exploring the ties between ambient and UK bass music. Our resident Greg kicks off the show with a selection of urban soundscapes haunted by the presence of UK garage and dubstep, pairing OG classics with new gems. Next show in November !

Big up @meandthemokyeah and @lithium.paris for making this possible.

BreathOut was initially a reflection on post-club moments. When the pulse and euphoria fade out, only memories feed our reality. What started as a post-club narrative has now evolved into a more personal reflection on daily life. As I tend to go out less, with distant memories of leaving the club as the sun was rising, BreathOut has become a total meditation on what surrounds me, but also on my deepest feelings 💭

This show is about cities. Those places where we all gather to live life at a fast pace, in a constant rhythm that repeats itself indefinitely, until something breaks. Places where our individuality tends to take the lead. But also places where surprises can hide in every corner 🌆

I hope you'll enjoy this excursion for @stationstation_radio 🎚

Here’s the tracklist for my @patterns_of_perception mix 🌿🍃 Patterns of Perception has been one of my favourite mix series for a long time so it’s been an honour to record a mix for them 💕
I recorded a dub influenced mix with lots of grounding subs and bass, and some more aerial ambient leaning moments. I wanted something that was a bit grounding to contrast with the chaos of the summer travels and festivals :)
It contains lots of producers I love, including lots of French ones, some veryy pitched down 170 tracks, trip hop infused moments and more. Link in my bio to have a listen 🦦🐛 xx

femme, expérimental with @notadelmonka - high tide low tide
🔊TODAY AT 18:00 CET

First guest of this new residency is: monka
This mix is deeply immersive and narrative-driven, shaped by ambient and experimental sounds. Broken textures and dub elements blend seamlessly with downtempo, spacious rhythms and leftfield influences. Organic samples with pulsating energy make it hypnotic, slightly psychedelic.
