100 Summers 💕

My 36th summer was full of love, and I pray I have 36 more + 28!

100 summers to live, love, and do it in a new way each time.

I look back at last summer and think, what if that was my last summer? I wouldn’t be sad.

This summer was probably one of the most peaceful summers I’ve had in a long time. A very ordinary summer to anyone looking in from the outside, but I spent it around people who make me feel safe, seen, and loved.

This summer was a reminder to stop waiting for circumstances to be perfect in order to live. 💕

We would like to properly introduce SCENE to everyone on here and tell you a little bit about who we are and what we’re doing.

🌀First and foremost we are a casting agency who aims to create community through events, casting and art

🌀Our aim with SCENE is to celebrate and bring together the talent of Londons creatives, showcasing some of the amazing things being produced and the people making them

🌀Other than casting we are working collaboratively with photographers, directors and musicians to curate meaningful and exciting art practice

🌀Our hopes for future projects is to establish a community that empties the idea that there isn’t room for all of Londons creative collectives

We are very excited for what we have in store and gassed at the chance to connect further with all you lot 💙

🏃🏽‍♀️ LONDON BIG 10K COMPLETED IT MATE!

💚 I started running to help me mentally, and it gave me more than that. It gave me peace of mind.
The goal was to finish 🙃 I said I would be happy with 1.05, but once I got into my training programme, I knew I wanted to hit under an hour & I achieved that by hitting 10k within 59.43 🥳
I’ve never ran long distances before, and this was my first run out with epic people. I am happy to say I enjoyed every moment. London in the sun is beautiful 🌞

💛 Huge thank you to everyone who sent me well wishes. It’s been epic running with @borks_lg every week, holding one another accountable and encouraging one another. WE DID IT BRO!
Thank you to everyone who gave me running tips and advice, especially @emmakirkyo @jaynenisbet @lifewith_abz
💚 Huge thank you to @boyceeeeee @georgieokell for coming into my start group to start with me. A massive thank you to my sis @oprahsinfrey & her bf for being at the finish line and showering me with love. Biggest thank you to my hubby @seekingsigma4all for supporting me in everything I choose to do and feeding me positive affirmations, being at different points of the course to cheer me on.

👀 WHAT'S NEXT? Bobsleigh training is now taking priority, as are heavy lifts, jumps, and sprints. Long-distance running will now take a back seat, apart from the 5k zone 2 recovery run.
