MEET OUR NEXT ARTISTS 🧡

We’re so excited to announce that Bau Cat & Romy Taylor will be joining us at Origin Festival on Saturday 12th September.

Bau Cat @bau__cat:
“Bau Cat are a three-piece from the seaside town of Prestatyn in North Wales, blending Laurel Canyon shimmer with surf-jangle, new wave cool and psych-pop bite.”

Romy Taylor @romytaylorr:
“An independent, Leeds-based vocalist and songwriter whose music sits at the intersection of alt-pop and contemporary jazz. With roots in southern Spain, Romy’s heritage subtly informs her musical identity.”

Origin Festival is all about bringing good people together in a beautiful countryside setting and doing what we do best. Expect a full day (and weekend if you’re camping!) of live music, artisan food, local drinks, market stalls, workshops, a hidden disco, fire performances, DJs into the night and plenty more to discover.

Tickets start from just £30 – come and be part of Origin Festival at Pealie’s Barn. We can’t wait to welcome you 🔸

new gig review out now on substack for @esmeraldaroad @jeaninetheband & @romytaylorr live in leeds at @lending_room !!! this one was a gooden with amazing artists on this line-up, link in bio to read 🩷

It's no secret that Esmeralda Road are on their way to becoming the next biggest thing in the indie scene - if not already secured by the Belfast band, the spot is theirs for the taking. Their distinctive, genre-bending sound can only be described as a melting pot of different musical influences, blending indie, rock, jazz, and funk elements together to create something incredibly fresh and a lot of fun...

I am so grateful for everyone I have met these past 3 years, u have made these the best 3 years ever I love u all so so so so much ~ im literally constantly in awe of the people I know and work with 😜

My beautiful talented amazing friends n family give me the confidence, love and support to create what I want to achieve and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without u xx

To think 10 year old me was so scared and shy to perform anything is crazyyyy, my confidence has grown so much since coming to Leeds 🤓🥳

Being surrounded by people who live and breathe creativity is so inspiring 🩵

Anyways get to do this all again next year for masters lolll ~ I hope the hoods are still teal 🤪

this dress made me feel like a princess fr 💅
