What. A. Night.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first anniversary party and the week leading up to it such a huge success. The bands, the caterers, the staff, and of course, all of the amazingly wonderful people who came out to celebrate with us 🥂

We can’t thank you enough for helping @littlegembar become a reality and we can’t wait to show you what we’re stirring up for Year 2️⃣

So grateful to be included in this sweet little group show featuring a handful of @peel_gallery artists at @mentbevco in Durham.

What a homey little scene they created. Stop by, grab a beverage, and check it out thru Nov 18th.

My painting, PAUSE, is currently unframed, but my recent collectors have been asking for frames in their preferred color. I'm happy to whip out the saw and do it up. 💛

Sharing space with so many wonderful local artists. Everyone is tagged in the pics. 💛

The Shift Change reception was perfect and it was a real treat to see/hear @verityden and @servertheband while celebrating 25 years of @orangecountysocialclub. Thanks to all who joined the party! The exhibition is on view through October 4th so make sure to check it out if you missed the reception. The remaining available works can be found on our online shop. ✨

Exhibition Statement:

Shift Change showcases art produced by some of the bar’s past and present staff. OCSC has always maintained a small, close team, made up of many local artists and musicians. As the show’s title suggests, Shift Change recognizes the exciting work these individuals are doing when they’re not on the clock at OCSC.

A lovely visit and conversation with Ron Liberti about his handmade poster art, the process behind it, and what's in his upcoming exhibition, What Goes On — Studio Ephemera and Workplace Tools at Horace Williams House, with comments from curator Marcela Slade. The exhibit's opening reception on Sept. 6 will include music by @drunkascheese and @c.albertblomquist.
