MEET THE ARTISTS 🎨

Art does not happen by accident. It happens because someone chose to keep going, even when no one was watching. 🎨

Swipe through and meet just a few of the dedicated creatives bringing their work to Liguanea Plaza this April 26th. Behind every piece on display is a person who showed up for their craft, day after day, until the work started speaking for itself.

Come hear what it has to say. 🇯🇲
April 26th | 10AM–6PM | Liguanea Plaza, Kingston 6 | Free Admission

Introducing Ronald V. Sullivan and Dance Hill Collection.

Ronald is our first sculpting artist here at The Scene and his works have garnered interest far and wide. He was inspired by the stone sculptures of the Shona artists in Zimbabwe. He became intrigued by the artistry, craftsmanship and the imagination portrayed in these unique pieces.

Ronald finds continuous amazement in the beauty inherent in those of nature’s raw materials that he uses to create - primarily wood and stone. You have to see these sculptures in person to experience the true beauty and essence of these carefully crafted wooden works, a perfect accessory to your home or garden space. 🪵

“I feel very lucky to have grown up having interaction with adults who were making change but who were far from perfect beings. That feeling of not being paralyzed by your incredible inadequacy as a human being, which I feel every day, is a part of the legacy that I've gotten from so many of the adult elders.”

~Marian Wright Edelman
