took a disposable camera up a mountain, just got the film back

made a baxter park trip a few weeks ago with some similarly intrepid, similarly deranged friends

hiked in and camped at chimney pond, which was impossibly serene. gollumed our way across the knife’s edge to summit katahdin, and managed not to get blown off the mountain in the process despite multiple attempts by several wayward gusts

grand total mileage over two days comes to 7,556 feet of elevation change over 11.9 miles— in, up, over, down, and back out again

felt like a positively absurd, ridiculous thing to be doing, which i’ve been enjoying more of lately
