Shop night 6.12.25

There is a period in every cars life, that it finally finds its way to the person who will give it the best life possible. A FOREVER home, if you will. @dustin1932 has taken this truck, and transformed it into something none of us would have ever dreamed of. The details, the chrome , the stance, is all off the charts . This peach will be at @the_gathering_at_the_roc this year.
Come say hi to the Ironlords !

Keep burning the midnight oil Dustin !

When your wife comes into the shop , and asks where all the chrome is , you yank the engine and chrome everything possible .. Atleast that’s what @dustin1932 did!

This truck is going to be off the charts cool 😎. May need sunglasses to get up close to it !

1 day a week, can make a mountain of progress on a project . Especially when you have the right friends to dive in, and get to it.

So go call your buddies and find out what they are working on ! Go lend a hand !

Unleash the Beast 🔥🔥🔥

This is one Sick International Work Truck

🤜🏽 @ronbarbarino

This truck was built to get the job done—no extras, no fluff. Ron built it as a daily driver and work rig, focusing on what he needed to haul, handle, and perform every day. Though it’s retired from daily use, it still steps up for the occasional haul and has earned its place as a legend, loved by many in the community.

Every detail on this truck was built with a purpose. From the drivetrain to the utility bed, everything is designed for function and reliability. It’s tough, raw, and built to handle business without skipping a beat.

Here’s the breakdown:

• Cadillac 500 engine
• NV4500 transmission
• Dana 60 & 14 Bolt axles
• NP205 transfer case
• 46s for serious traction
• A rear winch and functional utility bed
• A simple, no-nonsense interior

This rig has served Ron and others well over the years and continues to stand as a testament to practical, hardworking design. If you’re into vintage work trucks that are built to work, not just for show, check out Ron’s page to see more about this beast and the story behind it.

Walking around in dels shop, there is always a new supply of cool things stashed in corners, on shelves, or in the bed of the static 38 ford truck display.

Winter feels like it’s here, So it’s closed car weather !
There is no other place like North Carolina !

Shop night of 9.11.24.
Fall is here. It’s a great day to be an Iron lord! Our new friend @manventurer invited us to his spread to check out his new 32 sedan project. A rolling bones built car that wasn’t quite finished. Now it’s his turn to write the story for this one and get it back on track with the bones hot rod shop! We’re so happy for you ! Thank you and your family for having us ! We then ventured down the street to @peace_on_union beautiful homestead. We had to lay eyes on the new model A coupe project ! Such an untouched gem! After taking the tour , we headed to Delton’s to check out the barger road ragtop. It was a good night to have the cars out with our friends. Thanks @leonidas_charbonneau for climbing up to get a good photo.

Are you in the area ? Reach out to us , come visit.!

The 532 bonneville car of @corl_competition needed a second cleaning. The salt away bath is an absolute must! The evenings are getting nice and cool making it perfect hotrod weather!

Shop night 6.19.24…
There are nights where we don’t get anything accomplished, aside from sitting around sharing photos and stories from our travels all over the country… memories that we seemed to let fade until key words bring back the past experiences. Like ripping down elmirage in a hotrod with our dear friend Ken, or when a the fuel pressure regulator blew on dels 32 in the middle of Nebraska and spewed fuel all over the car… what it was like when we drove through Death Valley in August, or when we came into Vegas as the sun was going down. Even the food that was along the way , good or bad , our trips to TROG…

Sitting back , thinking about the places, the people, the cars…. We are beyond fortunate. We are privileged. We live in a beautiful country with the freedom to travel.

What a busy night ! Engine and trans in ! Then we installed the all chrome banjo / overdrive into Dustin’s 41, along with some wheels and tires. Man this thing is taking shape !! We had a visit and a good hand from a local FNG. Really great to meet you Josh and thanks @leonidas_charbonneau for diving in.

Lots of laughs!
