You may have seen an event. An interview. A workshop.

Swipe through, and you’ll see what connects them. 🟠

Since 2017, Go Cultura has been building a stronger foundation for Aruba’s cultural and creative sector.

Research placed in people’s hands. Grant applications that helped unlock financial support. Public and political dialogue. Cultural productions. Regional connections. CreActivo conferences. And the sustained work behind the Mapping of Aruba’s Cultural and Creative Industries.

Between those milestones: years of listening, writing, organizing, negotiating, and following through.

𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄.

It needs opportunities, knowledge, support, and a voice in the decisions that shape its future.

That is the work behind these slides.

This is a selected history. It also recognizes independent researchers and other initiatives, with credit where it belongs. There is more work beyond these pages, and more ahead.

To every creative who has shared their experience, every collaborator who has contributed, and every partner who has backed the work: you are part of what makes the next chapter possible.

Go Cultura’s Mapping findings will be presented at 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗼 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲. The ambition: evidence that helps shape policy, investment, and opportunities for the people who create.

𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁. 𝗜𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝘁.

Share this with someone who needs to see the work. To contribute your expertise, partner with us, or help fund what comes next, send us a message.

Hello from New York!

#NewYorkClimateWeek2026 has been a week of insightful dialogues, enriching and transformative encounters. Not only was it an opportunity to strengthen connections, but it was also a special occasion for woman-to-woman leadership interaction.

Each of us bring our own different journey, experience, and perspective, and that, when united, becomes clear the urgency for turning strategies into action, acessible finance and toolkits.

It was an enormous pleasure to (re)connect with @oshannonburns (an amazing leader bringing many of us together), @abuabaramj and @sarahdusek , as well as meeting in-person Louise Twining-Ward, Ph.D., @ronellacroes , Julie Cheetham.
