This might be the most confusing video from me so far, sorry 😆 It’s just so hard to explain this kind of behavior. There will be more, stay tuned 💞

While waiting please tell me have you even experienced this kind of behavior, like can you understand what I’m trying to describe here? 🫢

🇺🇸 Hi, I’d be interested to hear your thoughts on this in comments or messages. 💬
Why is victim-blaming and victim-minimizing still so prevalent in our society? What are the underlying reasons for it?

Why is it often the victim who is expected to carry the burden of reputational harm when someone else has chosen to commit wrongdoing against them? And why does this attitude appear to be particularly pronounced in cases involving sexual violence and domestic or intimate partner abuse?

Hi ❣️ Earlier I shared that my serial rapist ex had been sentenced to 319 years in prison in the U.S. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be accurate.

I watched his sentencing hearing remotely yesterday, and the final sentence is actually 291 years. The reason for this is that the judge ordered some of the sentences to run concurrently rather than consecutively.

That said, I think I can live with this sentence just fine, even if a few years were knocked off. He will be eligible to apply for parole in 270 years.

And honestly, I haven’t heard anything as unbelievable as what I heard during that hearing in a very long time. I’m looking forward to making a separate video about it for you all.

So if you’re not following me yet, now might be a good time—so you don’t miss that video when I finally get it finished.

And just to clarify: the 319 years I mentioned earlier was actually the jury’s sentencing recommendation, not the final sentence imposed by the judge.
