We wanted to give a shout out to our incredible panel of international judges who had the difficult task of scoring this year's record breaking number of entries. The entire panel was made up of industry professionals and we sincerely appreciate the fact that they made time in their busy schedules to assist CIMPA in making sure the brightest minds in Cayman’s marketing and creative industry were rewarded for their efforts.

Even PM's take a coffee break ☕

Throwing it back to when two of our regulars captured a moment with each other at their fav coffee spot. Ron, ran into The Honorable Mia Amor Mottley @mamottley and shared these words.

#repost "Fortunately, I had a spare copy of my book “Tighten Your Shoelaces” on me and presented a signed copy to her.... Lesson: always be prepared for unexpected meetings with interesting people. As they say, luck occurs when preparation meets opportunity"

As we celebrate the month of our Independence and the people and pioneers that make our little gem of the Caribbean great, let's all prepare for that next opportunity. Now, that's something to sip on.

5 ways to Personalize Service

How can you enhance the experience journey?

Personalized Service with a Smile 😊

Here are 5 simple ways to provide personalized service with a smile:

1. K.I.S.S. principle: Keep It Simple Sweetheart

2. Service in the simplest form is people taking care of people. Share a smile. It’s contagious.

3. Name Usage: People are not room numbers or table numbers or numbers in a line. Learn then interact with others by name. Think Starbucks coffee order versus ordering a pound of turkey at the deli counter.

4. Preferences: organically collect a list of the other persons favorite things. Incorporate those things internationally into the experience journey touch points.

5. Assertively ask! Ask for feedback. Feedback is the breakfast of champions. It’s also the most direct way to identify areas of improvement from the other persons point of view.

To learn more about Service with a Smile customer service training programs, consulting projects or speaking topics, check out KROS.life website or DM me and let’s set up a strategy call.

Tighten Your Shoe Laces 👟

As I was getting ready to tie my shoes in preparation for my run this morning, I couldn’t help but think of the message of outrunning the bear in @ronjohnsonco “Tighten Your Shoelaces” book.

Grateful to have had the opportunity to share the stage with Ron in Curacao at the @caribbeanhappinessconference earlier this year. It was at that event where he signed and gifted me a copy of the book.

Want to know ways to outrun the bear in your life and business? I encourage you to include this book in your must read list. It could make a great book club read, maybe a book to share in a book exchange or even a gift for your team members this holiday!

Excited to share, I joined a book exchange chain where I paid to send one book and can expect up to 36 books in return! If you’d like to be part of the book exchange chain, comment or DM me “IN” 📚

If you are looking for a professional branding expert (known for seamlessly combining HR and Marketing with his signature bHRanding formula), give him a follow @ronjohnsonco

Also! Expert tour guide and ambassador of Curacao featured as a book model sharing a smile in this reel: @iamtirzah
