Four days, two vehicles, 24+ cast and crew, some tears , some scratches, lots of sweat, and one too many RedBulls later.. we made a film! I am not only so so proud of all my cast, but my crew as well. Without them it wouldn’t have been possible. There were some ups and downs but I’ve learned so so so much Directing this film and I can’t wait to share it with you all when it’s all finished. I could not have done this without the help of my producer who rallied when I couldn’t and made sure things were sorted when I wasn’t able too!! More pics to come! A (Bloody) Good Reflection is going to be screening at the OFN LGBTQ+ Film Festival on April 10th as a part of Block 15 at the Block Cinema. 🚨ECHOES OF DUTY IS OUT🚨 🎥 Watch via the link in bio After nearly a year of conceptualizing, planning, drafting with @maxim.225 & @philipkamper, we shot this film in May at @london_film_academy. Proud does not even begin to describe the sensation of having been a part of this project. In every stage, I worked alongside this team to pull off @maxim.225 & I’s first film in well over a year. Working as the DP for this short was a dream come true. Everyone involved was such a treat to work with. I am now in awe of what it truly means to put a “professional” film together. While making any video piece is exhilarating for me, this one was special. I brought in my childhood friend @_jack.martin__ to work as the Production Designer for Echoes. With 0 experience in this medium and a self-proclaimed love for all things fashion & design, I knew he would be a perfect fit. Jack, you knocked it out of the park with this one :) @alexander.des.monstiers , my cam op, thank you for having shown me the ropes of cinema grade cameras and above all, your confidence in my vision. Thank you to all of you in the production team for believing in me, especially when my imposter syndrome was through the roof. & moreover, thank you to my friends and family for all your support along the way ❤️
