The self-described liberal Zionist openly opposes BDS and, as NYC comptroller, oversaw pension funds holding over $1.5 million in Elbit Systems, one of Israel’s largest we-pons manufacturers.

Police violence at the Ulm 5 demonstration in Stuttgart Germany, October 24th 2026

Without any valid reason, police suddenly charged into the crowd, shoving people who were simply standing there. I was hit myself despite not doing anything. Officers arbitrarily began pushing demonstrators around and breaking flagpoles, escalating a situation that did not need to turn violent.

Throughout the demonstration, police repeatedly pushed into the crowd, encircling the demonstration, deliberately disrupting the protest and turning a peaceful gathering into a situation of intimidation and violence.

This is what police repression looks like. People gathered to show solidarity with @theulm5 and were met with violence and intimidation. As police violence and the repression of protests continue to escalate, it becomes increasingly clear that the police are not there to protect our right to protest... it is clear they are the ones threatening it.

Sitting in a repressive and mostly silent Germany, this video from France brightened my day...

A stressful day spent in court where 3 dim-witted police officers appeared and arrogantly lied about a comrade that they targetted at a pro-Palestine demonstration.
Luckily we have evidence that they lied, but there will be no consequences for them. THIS IS THE PROBLEM.
