POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This month marked the 3rd anniversary for BMR and we couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who has listened, supported, released, and joined our community of people who truly care about music. With BMR036 out as of last week, we have put out a single, EP, album or compilation for 37 straight months and are truly proud of every single release. THANK YOU to every BMR artist! 🎱💙 This weekend we continued our annual tradition of getting together to celebrate the label and share good food and drink. Each year we have been able to bring more and more of our artists together for the party which makes it undeniably special. The connections and friendships we’ve made through this have been such a wonderful gift. 🫂 We will continue to champion underground music and have no plans to slow down. See you next month for more sounds for six days. ✌🏻

🎱 We are so grateful for the connections we have made through BMR and now our network of friends and collaborators and artists has spread across the globe. Ahead of our 30th (!!!) straight monthly release this Thursday we got together with some of our artists, friends, and day 1 supporters here in the DMV to celebrate our 2 year anniversary as a label (even though we are halfway to 3 years now 😁) and couldn’t be more thankful! We have so much more good music to share and are not slowing down anytime soon. Stay tuned for more sounds for six days. 🎱 With gratitude, @roobs.infinity & @blinkhornmusic

Patrick Blinkhorn (@blinkhornmusic) and Alex Rubenstein's (@roobs.infinity) mission for @blackmagicrecs is simple: a label focused on community, artistic freedom, and providing a home for experimentation. For them, bringing unique creations to an audience that knows the value of the work that goes into creating music is a dream come true. The former recently appeared on our broadcast, but the latter kept his DJing skills on the down-low. We bring him on board tonight to show us what he's got! As a showcase for what they're all about, tonight's guest has crafted a genre-spanning mix that blends the sounds emanating from his and Blinkhorn's new venture and some personal favorites. Tune in tonight for two hours of Roobs taking over the decks on Studio 96! • Tune in: FRIDAY NIGHT 7-9PM DC 6-8PM CHI 4-6PM LA SATURDAY MORNING 12-2A LDN 9-11A TYO • LIVE on @wera96.7 FM in the DC area + WERA.fm around the world! • Call the hotlines with your shoutouts! 703-527-5967 703-527-7967 • Artwork by the inimitable @artem.indd + @nonobjectiveworks • #studio96 #electronicmusic #dancemusic #housemusic #techno #experimental #electro #idm #disco #acid #techno #breaks #drumandbass #dnb #jungle #electronica #bass #clubmusic #baltimoreclub #ukbass #futurebeats #footwork #juke #dj #djmix #vinyl #vinylmix #dcradio #dmvradio #fmradio #worldwide
