🎮🔥 Clash Royale x Supercell 30 sec Detonation feat. Boss Bandit!

@roofstudionyc invited me to direct this film for Supercell, reimagining one of the most iconic gameplay moments in Clash Royale. #HUMANMADE !

We combined frame-by-frame animation, watercolour textures and Japanese ink brushwork to create a unique, handcrafted look.

Our goal was to turn Boss Bandit’s last-second victory into a cinematic experience packed with dynamic camera movements, fast-paced action and explosive energy. 💥

What a pleasure it was to direct this film and push the boundaries of animation!

Thank you, Supercell! ❤️‍🔥 Thank you Roof!

Behind the scenes coming sooooon!!

Three real Clash Royale stories.
Three totally different animation styles.

Recently, @roofstudionyc teamed up with @wearedavid.ny for Supercell on ClashterPieces — a series where real Clash Royale player stories are transformed into 30-second animated shorts.

@roofstudionyc collaborated with the incredibly talented team at @histeria.studios to open this trilogy, who brought this film to life through their craft and animation. Next episode will be a collaboration with the amazing team at @birdostudio.

Another absolute stunner of an animation from @wearedavid.ny animated by @roofstudionyc Studio for supercell.

The fourth of six episodes, “30 Seconds of Horsing Around” brings a real Clash Royale player’s in-game glitch into a comedic puppet show.

I am now not sure which I like best.

Three real Clash Royale stories. Three totally different animation styles!

@roofstudionyc recently teamed up with David New York for Supercell on ClashterPieces - a series where real Clash Royale player stories are transformed into 30-second animated shorts.

From a 3D world made out of felt, wood and soil, to a love letter to old-school cartoons, each film comes to life with a completely different visual style. Sam universe, totally new energy every time 🔥
