Still riding the high from Fridays pop up -
@rooftopcoffeeroasters sure knows how to throw a ten year party!

Here’s a couple of my cocktails from Fridays event in the most beautiful photos from @maddiefaithporter :

You won’t believe it has coffee - A gin sour featuring Rooftop Cesar Munoz Coffee infused gin (Local @ferniedistillers Prospector in fact!), Lychee Liqueur, Lemon, Thyme & Egg White.

2nd Ave Patio Hangs: An ode to strawberry matcha with Strawberry Infused Aperol, Elderflower Liqueur, Lemon Bitters, Prosecco & Soda, topped with Coconut Matcha Foam.

Thanks to everyone that came and supported… Curious Pour is officially registered as a business so keep your eyes peeled for future events and offerings… I’d love to take you along on the adventure. And if you have any ideas for an event, collab or fun backyard hang, get in touch!

All time fall time! Ever thought about when your 10,000th day alive is… me neither till @colinobrien9 and @kate.abra started talking about it. Turns out for me, that’s today!

Spending the day driving back from @steepndeepxc after enjoying some of @fernietrailsalliance finest trails! A killer race format that I certainly will be back for next year!

New feature beans on bar!! this batch comes to us all the way from Bolivia, roasted by Rooftop Coffee Roasters out in BC. it’s ridiculously smooth and pleasant with tasting notes of sponge cake, vanilla cream, and dried apricot

Misa’s pick: try it in an iced vanilla latte or a flat white!!

available behind the bar and on our retail shelves until the end of the month (grab a bag before it’s gone!)

This will ruffle some feathers…👇

When you move to Fernie from Alberta, Ontario or Vancouver one thing everyone always asks is…

“What should we do downtown?”

First of all let me tell you where downtown Fernie is.

Basically, it’s 2nd Ave from Save On Foods all the way down to @himalayanspicee just past the Vogue Theatre.

This stretch of prime real estate encompasses the Fernie Lifestyle.

Here’s the Top 5 Things to do in downtown Fernie.

5️⃣ Grab a bagel @bigbangbagels I suggest devouring the biggest baddest bagel in town.

4️⃣Snag a fresh coffee @rooftopcoffeeroasters Awesome cup of Joe.

3️⃣ Hit up the @fernietaphouse for some wings and a @ferniebrewingco beer

2️⃣ Excite your taste buds with some extra spicy food from @himalayanspicee It’s all so good

1️⃣ enjoy the best mussels in Fernie at the Brick House. So tasty!

What did I miss?

What is your favourite?

Don’t make a mistake and choose wrong. Give me a shout and I’ll help you out.

Have you ever had a coffee gin sour?

This one is something I’ve been working on for the Rooftop Coffee Roasters Ten Year pop up on September 25th!

Taking the tasting note of ‘lychee’, this sour is fun, surprising and actually really tasty. I think it perfectly captures the brief set by @keegan.st of staying true to the coffee and showcasing the brighter, fruitier and more acidic qualities of some of Rooftops coffees!

Not sure? Come try it for yourself in just over a week!

This cocktail, as well as 3 others and a couple of zero proof versions, will be available at the pop up- there will be limited quantities of each.

Can’t wait to celebrate with you @rooftopcoffeeroasters 🤍
