tarot readings are often imagined in flashy, brightly lit psychic shops—mysterious, and a little intimidating.
but what if a tarot reading could feel softer? more intimate. more inviting.

at rooh sanctuary, a reading with me is an experience designed to help you slow down, connect, and receive.

tea. the ocean. the sound of waves. space to breathe, reflect, and explore what the cards are revealing.

you’re invited into an expansive experience—one that engages your senses, opens conversation, and gives you space to connect with yourself in a deeper way. and while you wait you are welcome to read thru our expansive de-colonial library.

South Asian Pride with @satrangsocal @roohsanctuary - I couldn’t be more *proud* of the work of these two orgs for our community! Mingling, meeting, and mischief in one glorious afternoon! 🌈

Followed by the magical @garden.party.la with my boy @naach_music doing his thing bringing the beats so we could move our feet 🪩

Thankful and grateful to spend these ethereal moments with my ♥️ sister @lakshmedmad and her two amazing daughters!

Until I see you at the next shebang, keep being queer, keep yelling that you’re here, keep protecting the dolls, keep repping that Pride!

I’m incredibly excited to be apart of @roohsanctuary x @satrangsocal South Asian Pride market this Saturday! I made some special pieces for this event. I really wanted to make Desi inspired pride jewelry. As someone who identifies as bi and Demi sexual, I always felt like I needed to hide these part of myself. I did not have a safe place with my family to express myself. I know I am one of many who have felt this way. I wanted to create these pieces for those who want to celebrate all parts of themselves. With lots of love, from me to you 🏳️‍🌈

Profit from these pieces will be donated half to Rooh and half to Satrang 🖤

100% real that someone typed this into their web browser and found their way to us. Bold words for a very real request.

At Tejal Yoga we aim to please, we also aim to educate and empower every yoga student in the world to learn yoga with a social justice lens.

This month that means learning about how Appropriation and Erasure happens in yoga by attending my upcoming 4-hour workshop on May 31. This is a huge opportunity to learn a boatload of information!

Being a human means making mistakes and also being accountable for them. Showing up even when it’s hard and asking for forgiveness and making amends when it’s necessary.

In our upcoming workshop about the harms of appropriation, you will learn the ways this harm is systemically and individually perpetuated. The invitation to acknowledge what can be done differently and act in accordance will be yours to consider.

It’s a deep conversation full of next level learning. I hope you can join us for the livestream Sunday, May 31st 8a-12p pt.

cover slide by @nikeaurea says:
sometimes you will be
the one who caused harm.
sometimes you will be the one who was harmed.
community requires being honest about the fact that you are capable of both.
