1. You can know right from wrong and still struggle to do what’s right. 2. Shame can keep you trapped in the very behaviour you’re ashamed of. 3. I thought keeping my struggles secret protected my dignity. Sometimes, it protected my addiction. 4. As a Muslim, I thought hiding my wrongs protected my dignity. But my fear of admitting I was struggling kept me from asking for help, and gave my addiction room to grow. 5. You can love Allah and still struggle with addiction. 6. Faith doesn’t mean you never struggle. Struggling doesn’t mean you have no faith. 7. I confused being wanted and accepted by people with being worthy of Allah’s grace. 8. Addiction wasn’t just taking things from me. It was taking me further away from myself. 9. Hating myself never made me the man I wanted to be. 10. I didn’t need to become worthy of love. I needed to stop living as though I wasn’t. #Muslim #Islam #AddictionRecovery #MentalHealth #RecoveryJourney

SHIFA PASTE – NEW LOOK. SAME PREMIUM BLEND. NEW PRICE. Some of you may already recognise this Shifa Paste. Previously sold by a number of different businesses under their own company names, the original yellow & black 500g jar was price marked at £89.99, with sellers typically offering it at different prices around the £60-£90 mark. We decided to do things differently. We’ve rebranded it, introduced our own 250g jars and effectively sliced the price in half - making it much more affordable so more people can benefit from this premium blend. The branding has changed. The price has changed. The same powerful blend of 11 prophetic-inspired ingredients remains. NEW 250g PRICE: £40 And to celebrate the rebrand, the FIRST 5 CUSTOMERS can get theirs for just: £35 + £5 postage This offer is running across THREE of our platforms, so you’ll need to be quick. Once the first 5 are gone, it returns to £40. Stock is very limited. First come, first served. DM us to order or message us on WhatsApp – number in bio. #shifapaste #dates #yemenisidrhoney #honey #ramadan

I was so desperate to be accepted, I abandoned myself. I learnt to hide the parts of me I thought people wouldn’t accept. To mask, to perform and to become whoever I thought I needed to be to feel worthy of love and belonging. I became so good at hiding my shame that I stopped questioning why I was ashamed in the first place. And somewhere along the way, I started hiding from myself, too. In trying to protect myself from rejection, I was rejecting myself before anyone else had the chance to. There’s something deeply spiritual about the journey back to ourselves. In Sufi thought, the heart can become veiled, not because its light has disappeared, but because we’ve lost sight of it beneath the layers we’ve learnt to wear. Perhaps healing is partly the work of lifting those veils. Of meeting ourselves with honesty and compassion, rather than judgement. Of remembering that beneath our fear, our shame and our need to be accepted, there is still a soul worthy of being seen. Maybe the way back to ourselves begins when we stop abandoning who we are to become who we think we should be. #Shame #SelfAcceptance #HealingJourney #MentalHealth #Authenticity

🤲😭 YA RABB… LET NO WIDOWED MOTHER SLEEP WITH AN EMPTY KITCHEN 💔🍚 There are widowed mothers in our communities who wake up every morning carrying a burden no mother should carry alone. Her husband is gone. The children are hungry. The food has finished. The cupboard is empty. And she quietly asks herself: “Ya Allah… what will I feed my children today?” 😭🤲 Sometimes she hides her tears so her children will not see her crying. Sometimes she goes without food so that her children can eat. 💔 But Allah sees her. Allah knows her struggle. And He has given us an opportunity to become a means of mercy for these families. 🌾 SPONSOR A MONTHLY FOOD PACK FOR A WIDOWED FAMILY Your monthly sadaqah can provide essential food such as rice, posho, beans, cooking oil, sugar and other basic necessities. 🤲 HOW YOUR DONATION IS DISTRIBUTED We aim to make every donation reach those who need it most: 1️⃣ Families are identified Widowed mothers and vulnerable families in genuine need are identified through trusted community members and local contacts. 2️⃣ Needs are assessed We consider the number of children, household circumstances and level of need so that assistance can be directed fairly. 3️⃣ Food packs are prepared Donations are used to purchase essential food items and prepare monthly food packages for the selected families. 4️⃣ Food is delivered or distributed The food packs are given directly to the families, helping them meet their immediate household food needs. 5️⃣ Donors are kept informed Where appropriate and with respect for the dignity and privacy of beneficiaries, updates and distribution reports can be shared with donors. ❤️ We do not want your sadaqah to simply be a donation. We want it to become food on a child’s plate, relief in a mother’s heart and a reason for a struggling family to feel remembered.

🤲😭 YA RABB… LET NO WIDOWED MOTHER SLEEP WITH AN EMPTY KITCHEN 💔🍚 There are widowed mothers in our villages who wake up every morning carrying a burden no mother should carry alone. Her husband is gone. The children are hungry. The food has finished. The cupboard is empty. And she quietly asks herself: “Ya Allah… what will I feed my children today?” 😭🤲 Sometimes she hides her tears so her children will not see her crying. Sometimes she goes without food so that her children can have the little that remains. 💔 But Allah sees her. Allah knows her struggle. And Allah has given us an opportunity to become the means through which her hardship is eased. 🌾 SPONSOR A MONTHLY FOOD PACK FOR A WIDOWED FAMILY. Your monthly sadaqah can provide rice, posho, beans, cooking oil, sugar and other essential foods. Imagine the dua of a widow when she receives food for her children: “Ya Allah, reward the person who remembered us.” 🤲😭 What if your small contribution becomes the reason children eat tonight? What if your sadaqah becomes the reason a mother smiles again? What if Allah accepts it as a means of entering Jannatul Firdaus? ❤️ DON’T UNDERESTIMATE A SMALL ACT OF SADAQAH. You may give a little, but in the sight of Allah, your sincerity can make it عظيماً — something عظیم and greatly rewarded. 🤲 Sponsor one family every month. 🌾 Feed a widow. 👧🏽 Feed her children. ❤️ Turn your wealth into mercy. 🕌 Give for the sake of Allah. Let us build a chain of monthly sadaqah where no widowed family is forgotten and no hungry child is left without hope. 📲 To sponsor a food pack, please contact us or use the donation link in our bio. 🔄 Please SHARE this appeal widely. Someone in your family, mosque, community or friends list may be looking for an opportunity to give sadaqah today. Ya Allah, accept every hand that gives, every heart that cares, and every person who helps feed Your needy servants. Put barakah in their wealth, forgive their shortcomings, protect their families, and reward them with the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen Ya Rabbal Aalameen. 🤲😭❤️

Wanderlust Welsh Weekender 🏔️ A weekend of mountains, fresh air, muddy boots, good food, big laughs and even better company. The Wanderlust Women Welsh Weekender was all about stepping away from everyday life and spending time in the beauty of the Welsh countryside walking, exploring, connecting and creating memories together. There’s something so special about bringing women together in nature. Strangers arrive, but somewhere along the way, conversations flow, friendships form and a little community is created. “The believers are but brothers, so make peace between your brothers…” — Qur’an 49:10 🤍 This is one of the things we love most about what we create bringing people together, creating space for connection and building a community beyond the trip itself. We’ve also loved working with @roojithefoodie on events like this, and we’re already thinking about what we could create together next. So… what would you love to see from The Wanderlust Women x Rooji the Foodie 👀 Tell us below. 🤍
