@immersion__festival Iceland 🇮🇸

The craziest experience I’ve had in my whole life!

A journey for the bravest, the wildest and the most insane, in this outstanding temporary universe fighting against the odds and the impending nature to create one of the greatest experiences of our existence, and one of the craziest projects in the world so far.

I’ll probably never be able to put into words what this journey means to me. From planning and preparing to building, organizing, managing and finally playing, it was a fucking rollercoaster!

There were moments when I thought I was going to lose my mind, but no matter how crazy things got, I had the most wonderful people having my back every step of the way.

And to me, that means everything... It’s the feeling I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life, the most beautiful thing I’ll take away from this journey, alongside all the words I’ll never be able to find to describe it.

So, to my brother from another, @jackson_____jackson, who gave me this opportunity; to the warriors of music who built this crazy dream from scratch, the most talented and passionate team I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, including those I couldn’t tag; to the new friends I’ll carry with me for life; and to everyone I crossed paths with and shared this experience with: all my love and deepest gratitude!

The real ones, you know who you are. ❤️

In a world of chaos and fear, I found a spirit of passion and community that is rare in the rest of the world.
With that spirit, we transported everyone to a collective delirium, a magikal place where nothing lasts forever, but for that moment, it was the best experience of their lives.
During those days, I connected with people and created memories and relationships whose impact on my life I can’t measure. I learned so much, was impressed by so much, and helped solve situations from building a roof to finding a missing USB stick. From the craziest conversations to the ones that mark your life like a tattoo, one of them taught me something very important: “When you forgive yourself, you get to know yourself. When you know yourself, you become thankful. And when you’re thankful, you love yourself.”
The amount of love, effort, and kindness I experienced was so special that I want more, so I hope this was just the beginning of a new journey in my life.
Behind the magic, there’s a lot of hard work. Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do to keep the gears of life spinning, and every little piece matters in creating this beautiful festival. With discipline and resilience, we pushed the boundaries of mind, body, and soul.

Getting immersed in a Viking village for four days with some of your best friends, and making new best friends, is truly one of the top experiences one can have in life. So glad I got to experience it. ✨

Gotta admit, I had a lot of responsibility on this project.

Because of that, I decided to push my camera to its absolute limits. This is just the first preview of three posts I’ll be dropping to show everything we created.

For this project, I shot on a Nikon ZR with a @viltrox.official 16mm and an 85mm, both f/1.8.

Everything was filmed in 6K RED Log, 12-bit RAW, at 60fps.

And honestly… my PC handled it like a champ. Thank God 😛

One month since my first Rio Carnival - still deep in my bones 🇧🇷
