21ten Theatre's original BareBones show, Christian O’Reilly's Here We Are Again Still, returns to the stage. Don't miss it!

A lonely Irish widower spends all his nights sitting by himself on a bench outside his housing complex. As his stubborn neighbor repeatedly urges him to get inside for a change, and a down-on-his-luck young newcomer decides to start frequenting the very same bench, the three lost souls find themselves forging an unexpected connection. Here We Are Again Still is a funny, heartfelt ode to community, finding your purpose, and the beauty of the unknown. Starring Ted Rooney, Carla Grant, and Ben Lawrence.

August 28 & 29 @ 7:30pm

If I had a nickel for every time I wore a Jack-o-lantern over my head while being a pain in Joe Cullen’s butt for a Nolen Sternkopf film, I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?

Love being on set with these awesome folks. Please enjoy these “DEVIL’S DYNAMITE” behind-the-scenes I’ve been meaning to post now that this promo for an upcoming horror western is out there for the world to see. I was an assistant director and actor double for this one! Check it out on YouTube, and send a message to devilsdynamitemovie@gmail.com to get involved with this project’s future. The crew is currently searching for a feature film producer to partner with!

Yesterday we said goodbye to the extraordinary team from PRIMARY TRUST. We’ll miss them and the warmth they brought to this story of love and balance and time. But the saddest goodbye of all? The many wigs of Shareen Jacobs. RIP.

Thanks to everyone who came out to see PRIMARY TRUST! We can’t wait to welcome you back to The Armory soon! (Insider tip: We have some exciting free events and a delightful adaptation of LOUISA MAY ALCOTT’S LITTLE WOMEN by Lauren Gunderson happening between now and the end of December — check out the full schedule at pcs.org)

We ended up having no commitments last night, so at the last minute we decided to see Eboni Booth's 2024 play Primary Trust at Portland Center Stage. What I found most moving about it was the large number of empty seats at the theater. Here we had this Pulitzer Prize-winning play being put on a Friday night by one of Portland's leading theater companies with a nationally-known actor in the lead role and the theatre was far from full. At least we had a lovely time. Others of you should get off your couches a bit more often and engage the local arts community. #portland #theatre #theatre #portlandtheatre #pdx #oregon
