Our favorite place to be on a summer night. ☀️🌿✨ Outside on the patio, surrounded by the garden, with all of you gathered around the table. Date night, family celebration, dinner with friends, or just a casual night out — there’s always a place for you here. Our team is in their flow, the chefs are behind the scenes grilling something, starting a stock, playing with a new dish, or prepping for the week ahead. There’s always something happening around here, and nothing makes us happier than welcoming you in, feeding you, and getting to be part of the moments you share together. Come grab a seat and spend the evening with us! 📷: @duplawork

Another Summer Garden Series night for the books, and Italian Night was something special. Inspired by @_jmwaite + @davinwaite’s trip to Pietrasanta last summer, we gathered around the tables for a night of bright Italian flavors, food cooked over fire, plenty of conversation, and the kind of energy that happens when community comes together over a really good meal. 🇮🇹🔥🌿 We fired up our new outdoor kitchen from @rox.design and served everything from cioppino + polenta and schiacciata con l’uva to watermelon tuna carpaccio, summer vegetables, orzo estivo and olive oil cake with lemon glaze. These nights are about so much more than what’s on the plate. Sharing tables with friends and strangers, conversations that spark ideas, laughter, connection, and making memories together in the garden… that’s what this series has been all about. Much love to @duplawork for continuing to capture our story so beautifully, from the food and fire to the candid moments and everything growing around us. And, as always, so much love to our entire team and every one of you who shared the night with us. We might have room to squeeze in one more garden dinner before summer wraps… and we have plenty more coming your way, including a brand new tasting menu. Stay tuned. 😎

This is a time to honor members of the community who have been lost / affected to hate crimes, the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and the general experience of being threatened for simply living authentically. The LGBTQ+ community is strong and I am proud to be apart of it. The experience of queer love is incredibly sacred to me , and I am so grateful to have my boyfriend. the impact he’s have on me is beyond words — it’s also his birthday very very soon, so this piece serves as a early gift alongside the celebration of pride month ( REPRESENTATION!! ). I love you unconditionally and you are irreplaceable. I many more years of interwoven serene memories— & to create for you till my body gives out!—- I’ve been meaning to make a completely colored artwork of MacCready and Butcher for what seems like forever— they are pictured here holding one another with locked gazes- clamping shared leashes in their jaws, sat on a red velvet studded stone/marble pillared couch— dressed in the most appropriate attire. Death and Love formed from the same clay, drawn from the same well, regenerated by the same primordial bang that’s exploding now in some distant heart. Life may be but a stirring in the still vacuum of time, but even a fool’s life makes more calamitous riot than death in all her silent glory. Fear love and you fear life, those who fear life have already begun playing the empty notes of their funeral firge. I’ve got nothing to hide from the weapon of media, dirty mix of grace, shame, humanity, pain, magic , glory in other words, love ——-life. Those high hills people come from are affluent and shiny distractions but impoverished in things you can’t buy, rise up out of your padded rooms and scream with me into the world. SLIDES 1-3 are footage of a sketchbook I’ve held onto since I graduated high-school, I’ve been very picky and meticulous with what goes in there but at long last is complete. Lots of mixed media and originals. SLIDES 4-5 : A phew completed pages from me and my lover’s shared collaborative sketchbook that we pass between us two and document our connectivity and experiences @roosterhick SLIDE 6: A video of my personal fan I refinished to appear as a glaring eye, the stand is littered with vines like a building covered in ivy.

This somewhat sketchy/messy complex reference is a birthday gift for my lover @roosterhick of his Irish Wolfhound main fursona MacCready. It’s a joy to see this character develop and grow into himself alongside @roosterhick . In this slight redesign we tackled creating a new cap, marking placement, color correcting, updated ray gun, style update and generally making him represent @roosterhick more fully. This reference features 2 fullbodies, 2 headshots, 4 clothing chibis in a exaggerated old cartooon style, a detailed bust, a close up maw shot, a pelt reference, a colored fursona tattoo, lots of clothing options, music related to MacCready, items on hand and lab equipment. I will be able to fully focus on my commissions now with this big project out of the way. Be expecting an influx of art on the way because I have a lot of things in progress that are just on the cusp of finishing !
