3 years & still don’t have a protein deficiency 🌱

Thankful for all the support from family and friends throughout my plant based journey. All the holiday meals, get-togethers, meet-ups… I truly have the best friends for doing a vegan Friendsgiving with me for 2 years in a row now! Continuing to be grateful for AND find peace in the process. And now I’ve gotten to start exploring an entirely new area with seemingly endless vegan options. 🥂 to 3 years and many more to come. Not ever looking back. 🌱

The most incredible 21 days of my life.

21 days of self introspection, inquiry, quiet, soul searching, community, conversation, laughing, crying, listening, bonding, learning, creating, breathing, battling, living, and sharing. And all of this wouldn’t have been possible without the most kind-hearted, selfless, and genuine people I’ve ever met. Every single one of these 15 individuals that I spent my time with has their own beautiful story and their own beautiful journey. It will be such a pleasure to watch them all as they go on from here.

To my @jaiwellness family: thank you for being a part of my journey. And for allowing me to be a part of yours. I close my eyes and I’m still with you all in the shala. The bond that was created here will forever be in our hearts, and I’m so grateful to have met each of you.

To @tiskitajunglelodge : I cannot say enough kind words about the hospitality you provided to us. Your Eco Lodge is one of a kind, tucked away in protected jungle, where we were able to live amongst the most beautiful plants and animals I’ve ever seen. The food you so thoughtfully curated for us was not only delicious, but also nourished my body and soul. I feel so lucky to have walked the orchards, eating fresh fruit off of the trees, to have made friends with the monkeys, and to have shared my space with an iguana! Truly one of the most magical places in the world.

To @nicole_mahavir and @alvar0esteban - our teachers along this journey: the knowledge and tools you’ve shared are what every soul needs. A guide to the mind, body, heart, & soul. Learning from you both was a privilege and I hope one day I’ll continue my education with you. Thank you for creating the space for me to meet such wonderful people, and have the experience of a lifetime. I will never forget how the trajectory of my life changed through this. Thank you times a million!

My monstera is officially a MONSTER. It has done some real work this spring and summer outside. Also I made a FALL sweet & savory pasta salad and it is so good! Enjoying this beautiful day outside with my favorite things. Follow @rootedruff for more posts like this 🌱

Our owner was trying to take pictures of plants today but Loki was not okay with the plants having all the attention. He even stuck his tongue out at them. Hahaha! good boy. We love trying to steal and destroy the plants together! I think it’s our favorite pastime activity...
