Flash Agency is thrilled to announce 📣 the signing ✍🏻 of our newest member US 🇺🇸 Forward ⛹️‍♀️ Ruth Sherrill with Stjarnan Women’s Basketball of Iceland’s 🇮🇸 elite Women’s Basketball League. Ruth Sherrill, a 6’2” powerhouse from Alexandria, Virginia and Temple University alumna. The 28-year-old forward dominated across multiple top leagues, including standout performances in Spain’s 🇪🇸Liga Femenina 2 with Gran Canaria (19.2 PPG, 12.4 RPG), Slovakia’s 🇸🇰Extraliga (All-Star selection), and professional stints in Romania 🇷🇴 , Denmark 🇩🇰 and Turkey 🇹🇷 .

Key Career Highlights:
* Spain (Liga Femenina 2, Gran Canaria 2025): 19.2 PPG, 12.4 RPG, 2.1 APG, 1.8 SPG across 18 games

* Slovakia (Extraliga Player of the Week): Dominant rebounding and scoring production

* Championship pedigree: CAU Semifinals (2013), multiple All-League honors across Europe

* NCAA Temple University: Strong contributor with consistent double-digit scoring and rebounding

Stjarnan, perennial contenders in Iceland’s top women’s league, acquire a versatile forward who excels in transition, rebounding battles, and perimeter scoring. Sherrill’s physicality and basketball IQ perfectly complement Stjarnan’s competitive style as they target playoff success and Icelandic championship contention. Stjarnan gets a versatile forward who rebounds, scores at all levels, and elevates her teammates—perfect fit for their competitive ambitions in the ISL. Congratulations Ruth and all the best with your new team #RuthSherrill #Stjarnan #flashagency #womensbasketball
