Agricultural conservation can be thought of as a multi-part symphony... 🥬🍑🎶

It looks like farmers caring for their land so it can flourish for generations to come.

It looks like local food moving through our warehouse and reaching more communities, businesses, and tables across South Carolina.

It looks like chefs building menus around what’s in season and what’s being grown in our region.

Each role plays a valuable part. And together, they create something bigger: a stronger, more sustainable local food system.

At GrowFood Carolina, we’re proud to help bring those parts together. By connecting farmers to markets and moving locally grown food throughout our communities, we help turn agricultural conservation into something you can see, feel, and taste.

For 15 years, we’ve been honored to help orchestrate that symphony 🚜 🌾🍴

What started with just 5 growers has grown into a network of 120+ farmers and producers across 6,600+ acres throughout the Carolinas 🌱

Through sales, marketing, logistics, warehousing, and distribution support, GrowFood helps create more opportunities for local farmers by connecting them with customers to grow their business.

By strengthening these connections between farmers, buyers, and communities, we’re helping build a more resilient local food system 🌾🚜🍅

Needed some kitchen therapy today, so clocked in on a personal riff on Appalachian fried corn with @bentonsbacon , Kennerlin Farms sweet corn, soft herbs from @rootingdownfarms , and a can of chickpeas to make it more robust. This recipe might be coming to the @substack (link in bio) soon — it’s a keeper.
