It’s sad times for @deadarm_studio we are having to shut our doors this Saturday. We were able to work with an amazing charity @theartistwindow_ who have allowed us to showcase all our amazing partner artists

A huge CONGRATULATIONS too to @roots_0121 who was one of our two joint runners-up at the Pigeon Paint Off!

I'm going to mention this again - artists only had an hour to create a piece of pigeon artwork! The work created in that time was all so fantastic

A shout-out again to @junksoulsmothered for donating a gift for our runners-up!

Please give Roots and Junk Soul a follow and support their work.

Congratulations to coo, Roots

Let's introduce our next Pigeon Paint Off artist!

Here's Roots 0121.

Roots is an illustrator and street artist from Birmingham. Specialising in heavily character based artwork with a love for the weird and wonderful, influenced by 90s pop culture and falling down nature’s rabbit hole.

She has also exhibited her custom toys, trainers and original artwork both nationally and internationally.

It’s always fun to support independent businesses and so yesterday @jo__cochran and @kjerstismith popped into their local art store @pullingers to pickup a couple of @liquitexofficial paint pens. They have a fantastic selection of colours available in store. Plus their window is looking beautiful after being painted by @roots_0121 during last weekends Kingston Street Art Festival.
Next stop was the lovely independent cafe @ninocafe.co.uk in Fairfield for a coffee and to decorated some coffee cups using the paint pens they’d just bought.
If you’re luck you might get one of the decorated cups popped on the outside of your morning coffee from Nino’s

Have a great day everyone and don’t forget to support your local shops, cafes and artists wherever you are.

This is not technically #ad/pr as no one was paid for the creation of this other than Kjersti and Jo paying for their paint pens and coffees because they like to support local businesses but it is an #ad as in shining a light on a couple independent businesses.
