Roots Hair Salon Finally got to check out my friends’ newest location and wash those grays away! When I tell you, I was blown away.. I mean I was brought to tears when I walked through the door!! There’s just something about being genuinely happy for other people, 🤗🥰 when you know that they’ve been working their asses off for over 20 years to make their dreams come true… Dana & Nicole!!!!! OMG! It’s beyond… every single detail, every thought, every little idea.. simply gorgeous!! From the smiling Faces… Fresh cookies, and coffee when you walk through the door, to the decor, and the offerings of wonderful things being sold by female artisans… I could have spent all day there, aside from getting my hair done lol The Head Spa upstairs is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly relaxing, I love that you’re offering private parties (there was one going on, which is why I did not get any pictures) Those ladies were having the time of their life, sipping on their champagne 🥂 If you have not been to Roots yet, it’s my advice that you treat yourself.. no matter what service you’re looking to get, the staff is stellar .. using only top shelf products .. in the most relaxing environment … CHEERS to ROOTS, Wishing you so many years of continued business !! YOU ROCK! Congratulations 🎉

Month 2 of Is It Legit? Is WRAPPED ☑️ & this has grown waaaay faster than I thought it would. Giving you guys a real look at what these businesses are like has been one hell of a ride so far. There’s so much more to buying a home in Monmouth County or the Jersey Shore than just the home itself. What makes this place such a truly special place to live is the small businesses. There’s very few chains here. It’s mom and pop. It’s New Jersey at its best. Using this platform I’ve been given to highlight and tell these stories, show what it’s really like when you visit a small business featured here, is one of my favorite parts of it all. A business owner will never tell you how hard it really is to thrive. If one of my videos helps even one new customer walk in the door, it’s worth it. The fact that so many more people than that trust me enough and are going to try these spots honestly hits me in the feels. We never charge a business owner to film. We pay for what we order/utilize as a service. We tip the staff for our bill. You’ll continue to get the best of the best here in our beautiful slice of paradise. You’ll never see me trash a business on Is It Legit? but you’ll also never see the plenty of places I try that are never featured here. Keep enjoying, sharing and VISITING these businesses because they are LEGIT ☑️ #newjersey #monmouthcounty #jerseyshore #businessowners

Is this the best way to unwind & relax in Monmouth County? 🧖🏽 Is It Legit? with Jersey John ☑️ I checked out Roots Head Spa + Wellness Lounge and we’ve gotta talk about it. Is It Legit is a simple concept. No scores. No ratings. Just is a spot legit and worth your time and money to check out. I’m not paid by the establishment, I pay for my service and tip the staff. Here’s my breakdown: The Atmosphere: Roots Head Spa is located inside the Bellazio Collective in Matawan, NJ. Bellazio is one of those wellness and self care complexes that bring many businesses together under one roof. A cool concept that’s taken the self care and wellness industries by storm here in New Jersey. Roots is an individual studio inside Bellazio and you almost get transported somewhere else once inside. It’s relaxing and you feel at peace inside. Legit ☑️ The Service: It was Jersey John’s first head and scalp massage and Emilia walked me through what she was doing step by step. She was informative, caring and provided a great environment to chill the f out. Exactly what I needed. Legit ☑️ The treatment: I was quite surprised by how awesome this felt. It’s not something you typically associate with self care, however having a legitimate head and scalp massage feels amazing. The steam, the halo, the scrubs and everything else Emilia treated Jersey John with was A+. Legit ☑️ Recommendation: Don’t just save this for another day. This is something you should try for yourself. For the fellas or the ladies. It makes for a great gift. I picked treatments up for my mom and mother in law for Mother’s Day. Here’s something even better: Comment “Head Spa” I’ll DM you $25 off your first service compliments Jersey John 💬 Roots Head Spa + Wellness Lounge is Legit ☑️ 259 Broad Street Suite 108 Matawan, NJ 07747 Open Tu-F 9:00AM - 6:00PM Sat 10:00AM - 6:00 PM Sun 10:00AM - 3:00PM Check em out and let em know Jersey John sent ya! #Spa #newjersey #monmouthcounty #headspa #jerseyshore
