🧀🧀🧀🧀 Roots in the Forest was a celebration of music, community and nature and it truly showed. We were invited by Pgh Live Music to see what Roots was all about and what a cool event. It’s family (and pup! aaaand kitten??) friendly and honestly- seeing all the kiddos there felt nostalgic to me. Summer nights and live music with your people growing up is magic. Core memories were being made for sure.

While there were a few different options for staying over- we decided to car camp for the night and G set us up the coziest of trunk beds. We byob’ed some of fave canned cocktails from @wiglewhiskey and @timeforashifty and wandered around the forest and grounds.

We got a fiiiire cheesesteak eggroll. We also got us some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and burgs to support getting lil Wyatt a diabetic support dog ( https://gofund.me/7409cc457 screenshot and click the link!!) they are almost at their goal!!

Then came one of my favorite parts of the night- the Fire on the Mountain Fire dancers. It was mesmerizing. With the stunning sunset, the different fire apparatuses, the music- it was dreamy. Everything was really lovely and we were so grateful to be welcomed in. Thank you thank you thank you to Pgh Live Music and the Roots in the Forest team for a lovely evening. She’s #GOUDapproved

Roots in The Forest was such a unique and memorable vibe. We are blown away with all of the positive feedback!! This was another highlight to the weekend!! This is what community connection looks like! A song circle hosted by the one and only @kevinmay222 !!

If this is something that you are drawn to, I highly @recommend to follow his page, listen to his music and freestyle music, pickup a copy of his book, and check out some of his wearables that goes right in line with his message , music, and teachings.

I Am Still Vibing High From Roots In The Forest!!! 🌳 It was a magical weekend in the Allegheny Forest of Tionesta Pennsylvania! This family friendly festival was filled with incredible musicians and artists! We had the best time bringing in Grandma Beatrice and the Medicine Village to hold a Healing Oasis where we shared ceremony, workshops, yoga, sound healing and song circle!!! We were so impressed with the stage, the sound and the community-oriented atmosphere! A huge shout out and thank you to all the people that co-created this weekend and brought this vision to life! It’s pretty amazing the magic we can make when we come together!!! Keep Rising Family!
