This is more than a certification.

It’s a community of coaches, guides, educators, and leaders who believe great instruction has the power to change a rider’s experience on the bike.

At BICP, we’re committed to advancing the global standard for mountain bike instruction by equipping instructors with the knowledge, confidence, and tools to create safe, engaging, and rewarding experiences for every rider.

Our community spans countries, disciplines, and backgrounds, but we’re united by one belief: when coaches continue to learn, riders benefit.

This is the Bike Instructor Certification Program.
The BICP.

This is who we are.

If you’re passionate about helping others discover what’s possible on two wheels, we’d love to welcome you to the community.

Not bad for a season that only kicked off on March 27th!

Over the last two months, we’ve welcomed instructors from across the United States, Canada, and New Zealand into the BICP community through Level 1, Level 2, recertification, crossover courses, and our Coaches Convention.

Every certification represents something bigger than a credential.

It represents an instructor investing in their ability to create safer learning environments, deliver more effective coaching, and help riders progress with confidence.

As the Global Standard for Mountain Bike Instruction, we’re proud of the momentum we’ve built so far in 2026, and we’re even more excited about what’s ahead.

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a certified instructor, now is the time to take the next step.

Bentonville brought the stoke 🔥

Our Level 1 course rolled through the trails with an incredible crew, dialed instruction, and that signature Arkansas flow. Huge shoutout to Instructor Trainer Jay Thomas for leading the charge—bringing the energy, the insight, and the good vibes every step (and pedal stroke) of the way.

From first skills to breakthrough moments, this group showed up ready to learn, ride, and grow. This is what it’s all about 💥
