Power breakfast had to turn into power dinner, but I’m so happy to be reunited with Mary and Roots for the first time since 2019 NCAAs! 🤗

Received a nice little surprise in the mail today from @rootsw, commemorating what could possibly be The Last Breakfast. 😢 I believe this was sent in APRIL. It’s August. Please take this as an early reminder to mail your absentee ballots back IMMEDIATELY when you receive them! #votingmatters

Co-Founder and President Donna Benjamin here. Yesterday, I had the privilege of delivering another check for $2,000 to librarian, Wendy Tucker, at Moundville Elementary School. Then later, I spotted this EMPTY shelf of Dr. Seuss books at our local supermarket! I’m so overwhelmed with joy to see people sharing the joy of reading in our community. As we all do our part to help prevent the spread of this new strain of coronavirus, let’s remember that reading a book can allow us all to travel anywhere in the universe!
