Had a very blessed week jackpotting. On Monday I went to the invitational at Rosenburg and won the short round on Tank and second in the average. Tuesday I place in the first round, won the second round and won second and third in the average on Tank and Jesse at Tarleton. Yesterday I placed 4th in the average on Tank at the Cinch breakaway slide. Today was a special day for me, @jjhampton18x puts on one of my favorite ropings of the year every year, and I’m blessed to say I won the roping and the average sidepot today on Legend. Today at Park your Pony I won first and second in the second round, won the third round and won first and third in the average on Chick. Thank you to all my sponsors for everything they do for my team and I.

With only a few days left in the 2026 ProRodeo Regular Season, we are getting a pretty clear picture of which WPRA Cowgirls are qualifying to the finals!

Andrea Busby had one chance to write her name on the invite list for Las Vegas - a top tier performance in Sioux Falls at this year's Cinch Playoffs Governor's Cup. She made the most of that opportunity by taking home the barrel racing title. That win has her climbing into the Top 15 as she looks towards her 3rd National Finals Rodeo. Hayle Gibson-Stillwell capitalizes in Sioux Falls as well, and takes back the lead of the WPRA Barrel Racing World Standings brought to you by our partners at Hart Trailers !

Dreams came true this week for a few breakaway ropers who were sitting on the bubble going into the last week of the regular season. The pressure was on Martha Angelone and Bradi Good, but they shined in Sioux Falls, SD as they shared a reserve championship at the Governor's Cup. Martha moved from 19th in the WPRA Breakaway Roping World Standings and has found herself a seat at the table in the Top 15, while Bradi, sitting 15th last week needed just a little more to make sure she was in the Top 15, jumps to #10 this week.

A World Title seemed like a longshot for Josie Connor last week, but after coming out on top in the Governor's Cup Breakaway Roping, her chance of taking home a gold buckle just changed immensely - climbing closer to Cheyanne McCartney and Hali Williams in our WPRA Breakaway Roping World Standings brought to you by our partners at 7K Roping

The WPRA wants to give a huge thank you to Hart Trailers and 7K Roping for continuing to keep barrel racing and breakaway roping fans in the know all season long!

And as always, there will be an open roping right after the 7K competition but, it’s going to look a little different! This year, the open roping is going to be a benefit roping for our amazing co-worker Sonia, who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year. We will also be serving dinner during the roping. Get a hot dog, chips, and drink for $5. This money will also go towards Sonia and her family!

Refer to the flyer for all information! 💗

See you guys on Saturday!

I still haven’t been able to put this year into words yet. I’m truly blessed to be headed back to my 6th NFBR. Last year I was in a similar position and I let emotions get the best of me. This year I knew my last and best chance of getting in was Sioux Falls. I came in telling myself not to beat myself and trust in his timing and just go make my runs. Legend and Jesse James helped me spilt second up there and it punched my ticket to the finals.
There’s so many people in my corner that I couldn’t have done this without this summer. I’m going to start by congratulating my hauling partner @haiden_thompson on kicking butt all year and making her first NFBR, Haiden I truly couldn’t have done these last two years without you, you’ve been my rock through all of this, I will cherish every memory from both years and I’m blessed to have you not only as a hauling partner but as family as well, I can’t wait to cheer you on at your first finals!
To Whitney, McCoy and Harper, thank you so much for taking care of my place and animals for me this summer, that’s one of the hardest parts of being gone from home and I’m truly blessed to have yall as family and couldn’t have done this without yall either.
To the Reiningers, thank you for taking the best care of my two boys this summer. I couldnt have done this without yall! I enjoyed watching you girls kick butt on Jesse James this summer and im very thankful yall had him ready for me whenever I got home to finish the season off!
To everybody else who’s stood behind me and helped me this year even if it was just simply pushing one of my calves, thank you, I couldn’t have done it without you! To Jesse, thank you for helping me get through this weekend and helping me drive to make my life easier.
To my sponsors thank you for everything you do for my team and I, yall have stuck with me through everything and im truly blessed to have yall on my team.
