Getting asked to represent myself and the work I do, and how I show my community, while also highlighting myself, that’s been one of the most unique asks of me in recent years. I show up and execute without complaint. It turned out to be a vibe.

Shout out to every creative who was there that day. Some I met for the first time. Some are my neighbors. I appreciate all of you and I’m looking forward to what we build next.

2016 was definitely a moment in my life.
Twas in my bag in a very real way.

Art-Business was taking off.

Fashion and aesthetic was right.

Music was booming, performing multiple times a week. Dropped my 3rd project, “God Flow”.

Twas buzzinnnn, ya hea meee!

But at the same time, when I look at old journal entries from this era (which I did recently). My ass was strugglinggggg like mf behind the scenes. At war with myself internally.

It’s crazy.

Now ten, short — long years later, I’m a very different person. Very much the same person. Life doesn’t hurt as much. But still just as mm.. searching as I’ve ever been.

In an era of rediscovering self. Actually 🤔 in a very similar head space as I was then. Feeling the same energy/ boost to be my best self, recenter, realign, tap in, and execute the vision.

Life is funny that way.

Cyclical.

A lil dumpy dump…

I’ve been taking this week as a recovery week from what was #AdobeMax . Prior to last week, I was unaware of events like these. To be an avid user of @adobe products since 2007 it was full circle moment of sorts to be able to network with these companies as well as capture some of the sights and sounds for one of their vendors. I definitely recommend my fellow creatives to attend at least one of these within your lifetime. To be around so many likeminded individuals was a breath of fresh air that I’m grateful to have experienced! All glory to God, and big love to @pjdtx @_brittany.hogan for bringing me on!

@organicvalley hooked us up! So I have had the pleasure to visit some gorgeous hotels. I can confidently add @hotelfortney to my top 3 best luxury hotel experience. The interior screams old Hollywood glam. Everywhere you look, you will find breathtaking architectural details (I mean just look at that intricate hinge)! Brian, the owner shared how it all came together in a way that it made us feel that we were all there while it happened! Do ask for those juicy details when you meet him! Also, their door opens to Noble Rind Cheese Company that carries an array of artisan cheese specializing in farmstead products produced with sustainability as a model.

And once again I cannot go any further without acknowledging that it could NOT have been possible without @organicvalley true love and support for their community. We felt the love and respect! I can say on behalf of all the ambassadors that this was an experience that far exceeded our expectations. We appreciate you 🖤

Time to be honest. I have been consuming Organic Valley products for years only because me and family loves the flavor of their high quality products.

But my prospective changed once I had the privilege of spending some time with:
Lisa and Al, The Hass Family Farm.
Dr. Guy, Veterinarian who is passionate about holistic and organic approach for animal care. Chef Luke Zahm of the Driftless Cafe who talked about why serving local food is so important.
Joshua Fairfield, who grew up on his grandfather’s farm and shared his moving journey.

Listening to their heart touching stories, I have came back realizing I need to do better. The passion behind organic farming is far greater than any of us can fathom.

We were so lucky to meet some of the farmers that are part of the co-op and see all of the amazing work they do! 🐮

I’m so happy to see that there is a great company out there working towards regenerative farming practices and saving small family farms. 🌱🫶🐄
In the words of Dr. Guy “there is still so much beauty in the world and it’s worth saving”. 💚
