“It’s the little things.” I’ve never even tried 10 plates on my leverage press machine before, because if I’m by myself, and I’m being honest, i couldn’t get it up. Pause. 🤭 Try this strap assist and TAG ME. 💪🏻💪🏻#flexleverage #benchpress #machinepress

All right, per Marcus’s instructions I flipped the landmine adapter, installed the handles, and I actually had a pair of covenant caps from Roman strength sitting around. That I wasn’t sure what to do with. I figured out what to do with them. They look great on this bar.

Super excited for this piece of equipment from @9.22_designs and @rormanstrength

The Hudson bar was originally designed and displayed at HGC 2026 for seal rows, but Rory was using it for lat pull downs, and now with the new bracket they added for mine I can do landmine work as well. So definitely a great multitasker to have a small home gym.

Today was a record setting bench day and push day. The program was 10 singles. I was really happy last week when I did 276 for a PR for two reps.

this week NEW PR is 306 for a single.

Probably would not have been able to get there without my @zonesmellingsalts Irish Crème as recommended by @roy_gains cause I haven’t taken my pre-workout for a couple days and those smelling salts really do the trick and clear my mind and keep me focused.

When something doesn't exist, create.

I've been working closely with @evolpow on ways to improve their 3x3 lever arms. I have abused these in so many ways and they continue to work past their intended purpose. These lever arms have been a great asset to our gym and we want to show how truly versatile lever arms can be.

Here we did a hack to set these lever arms up in a fixed path for divergence and convergence lat pulls and chest press.

Yes these can be achieved in the free motion setup but a fixed path allow the focus more on the movement for hypertrophy training.

Using attachments from @rormanstrength megalith or wholly handles or even custom 3D printed handles from @kpexhomegymlab just allows for great versatility and ideas that are not limited.

What can you create?

@evolpow lever arms are $349 for thr 3x3 and $249 for the 2x2, but use our code DANNYDAVIS to save 5%

Using the prime rot8 pull up station on lever arms and using @rormanstrength capstones expedite transitions between setups and storage. this was a bit clunky using hand bolts/nuts but it got the job done but the capstones really dialed it in. awesome product

This mornings back workout felt so good that I decided to recreate and share it this evening.
The base of operations was the @darkolifts Thresher Pad on the @surplusstrength Stealth Spotter Arms, a multifunctional staple.

Platform is the @apexfitness Hybrid Board, which is part of their bench ecosystem but is a great standalone piece. The removable cutout was designed for their kickstand, but a Voltra slots in there perfectly as well for a few effective set ups that I’ll share later.
The resistance comes from the @gentlemanfitnessclub Compact Functional Trainer with a @beyondpowerofficial Voltra integration on a 1:2 double felt load ratio. I’ll have a full review on this 2 piece combo coming soon.

For close grip pulls the @porter_physed TRI Fighter hits with just a 5° outward bend, making a fantastic neutral grip. The different attachment points allow a natural camber in this orientation and use case. When going wider grip and deeper camber, the @9.22_designs Hudson Bar paired with @rormanstrength Megalith Handles is unmatched in ROM, quality, and feel.
Code JBTV saves at most of these places, and if it doesn’t, I’m probably not cool enough, but as a backup try code GLUCK & that will most likely work 😂
