It’s been a season of Willa, the season of our lives!! What a baby. She was born so sweet, so wise, and ever so joyous. She’s honestly an angel, perfect in every way. Two wonderful men built this absolute PIECE and it makes my heart sing!! Our new in-store studio bench designed by my love Brenton of Ode Architecture, and constructed under the strict tutelage of our dear friend Alex. Thank you champions for creating this lovely vision. Our Studio space now lives within the 41 Hunter St retail walls, creating an immersive experience of fashion and smallgoods and jewellery manufacture in house. Call in on weekdays to see our craft in motion. xx

You may have noticed we have been pushing a little harder on the promotions over the past several weeks. Firstly, thank you for enduring this mad hustle, we totally get that it can become a little in your face at times. Secondly - thank you for hanging in there with us!! We have been going through an interesting transition, as many small business owners would understand, where we are having to make pretty tough choices about our future, what the brand and brick-and-mortar store look like in a semi-unknown future, and.. more existentially, what does our local fashion industry need to become, if this were in our hands? Ideas have been swirling for honestly, almost up to two years, and we have now arrived at the moment of change, actually - what might be the first of several iterations of change.. We are not going anywhere!! Don’t panic-buy! However, things are certainly irrevocably changing and will look quite different come August. So we are whipping out this SALE to clear room for some interesting changes. It’s going to be really cool, really interesting, and you’re going to have a more intimate aspect to witness what we do around here.. So if you do want to shop - go nuts because a lot of the pieces you see now may not be in our future crystal ball.. We love you all a lot. We love our community and our team and think it’s a total dream we are able to call what we do at The Lair ‘work’, so - thank you for being a part of it, and making it all possible.
