I had the best time in VA celebrating my friends Patrice & Jason with so many of my favorites. Over 56 hair pins to keep my updo together, a change into flip flops, and too many laughs in two days to count.

If today is Labor Day, then it’s Broadway in the Park Day in Maplewood, NJ. The 5th annual concert features wonderful performers who have been or are currently on Broadway and live in New Jersey. The event is free, but donations are welcome and will benefit @somastage.

Last but definitely not least: Donald Webber, Jr., Mariand Torres, Ben Thompson, Rebecca Covington Webber, Jared Zirilli, Emily Grace Tucker and Andrew Kober!

This incredible cast will bring Broadway’s biggest pop and rock hits from the 1950s through today to the stage, backed by a live band.

The full cast is officially revealed… now all that’s left is to see them LIVE! 🎶🤘

I did something "SELFISH" and I don't regret it!!!!
If you know me, you know I am the opposite of selfish and it is a characteristic that I love and hate.

I celebrated another year on earth in March and on that day I was showered with lots of love between other work obligations. The next day I made a 15 hour drive for work.

Along with my amazing therapist,
my partner, and friends I took life into my own hands (as much as I could) and I dared to plan a mini DREAM trip in Cancun.

-3 days at one resort in Kantenah with two of my sisters @rorowebb and @tareacampbell for a girls trip.
-4 days with with partner @crystalmonee at another resort in Riviera Maya
-10 days at a wellness resort in Playa Car that we visited in January.

It has been MAGICAL!!! Not without its bumps in the road but a magical experience and an exercise in pouring into myself and doing what I WANTED TO DO!!!!

Last Tuesday, I got a text from my mom
telling me that my uncle passed away that morning. I was on the phone with him 3 days before I started my trip telling him I'd see him in Sept/ Oct and told him I was ordering him his favorite protein shakes.

GOD had a different plan...

My mom lovingly told me...Focus on your vacation. Everyone is asking about you. You know that KT wants you to keep enjoying your vacation!❤️❤️🙏🏾

I walk away from this trip with gratitude for the people that surround me, pour into me and allow me to do the same.

I leave here to drop my bags in NJ and then fly to TX to celebrate my Uncle KT's beautiful life with family and friends who also loved on me so much last Oct when I lost my dad.

I continue to reflect on the duality of life.
The high and lows.
AND I CHOOSE TO FIND THE BEAUTY AND LESSONS IN BOTH!!!!

My takeaway/ goals/ desire/intention walking away from this trip is to do a better job pouring into MYSELF!!!!! That is just as important as pouring into others.

I hope that YOU can do the same!!!

WK XXI 🙌🏾!!!!!!!

Actual birthday 7/XXI 🎉! I don’t take it for granted. I’m blessed because LOVE is a familiar feeling for me on birthdays. And this birthday was filled with exactly that LOVE!!! @rorowebb @skeerita @mama_cov and the whole family made sure of it near, far, in person, on the phone, and online and offline, onstage and offstage, breakfast lunch dinner and dessert, made sure I knew it was my birthday 😂🤣🫶🏾.

Then the celebration continued with one of the goats of Bway @murphymade - I’ll wait for him to show you what he’s cooking 👀😌

The song today LOVE is sung by THE GREAT @nik_alexander_the_great (RIGHTLY NAMED!).
