Such ideas for Teddy Ninja’s Nemisis, The Samurai!

Repost from @experience_nebula_
•
Released in 1999 and directed by Jim Jarmusch, the film follows Ghost Dog, a hitman who lives by the principles of a samurai.

It is a strange mix of crime, samurai philosophy, hip-hop culture, dark comedy, and a surprising amount of pigeons.

The RZA composed the score for this movie and even makes a quick appearance and small exchange with Ghost Dog, in which the two subtly spell out the word PEACE through the first letters of their dialogue.

I went into this movie completely blind, and came out of it wondering how it isn’t more popular.

If you haven’t seen this, I truly recommend you do so.

Flip & Receive · Day 4 ✨

I asked for a message for this moment, for you and for me. I closed my eyes, opened the book, and landed on page 43.

"Transcendence will be the way of life,
not the extraordinary, unreachable,
ions of work we have made it to be.
In the silence we hear all,
we feel all, we know all.
In our connection we experience all."

Transcendence isn’t reserved for monks, mystics or someday. It isn’t a mountain you have to spend lifetimes climbing. It’s available to you right now, in the quiet, in your breath, in your connection to everything around you. It’s time to rewrite your story!

Drop a 💚 if this landed for you, and tell me: who or what helps you feel most connected?

How could this come to life on #teddyninja?

Some dancers master technique. Harold Nicholas made it disappear. In this unforgettable sequence from the 1944 musical Carolina Blues, one half of the legendary Nicholas Brothers delivers a performance that blends breathtaking athleticism with effortless grace. Every leap, spin, and landing is executed with astonishing precision, yet nothing feels mechanical. His charisma and musicality transform extraordinary physical skill into pure storytelling, proving why the Nicholas Brothers remain among the greatest dancers in Hollywood history.
Sharing the stage are The Four Step Brothers and acclaimed dancer and choreographer Marie Bryant, whose artistry helped shape the Golden Age of movie musicals. Bryant later worked closely with Gene Kelly, refining choreography and coaching performers for some of Hollywood’s most iconic dance sequences. Together, this cast creates a performance that celebrates rhythm, elegance, and innovation, capturing the spirit of an era when dance was both technical brilliance and joyful expression.
Some dancers perform steps. Harold Nicholas made every movement feel alive.
