Just 24 hours earlier, we reach our initial campaign goal of $12.5 Million! SO AMAZING!! With just $2.5 million left to raise & only a handful of months before we move in, now is the time to join our team on this journey! Please reach out to our Director of Development, Emily Rappe’ Fisher, to schedule a tour and learn how YOU can make an impact on the lives of thousands of children. emily@childrenssafetycenter.org #cscwashco #restoringdreams #healingthefuture #everyhandprintmatters #springdalearkansas

The Service Learning Team would like to highlight U of A faculty member: ⭐️ Professor Ananda Rosa ⭐️ Ananda oversees 8-12 Field Seminar classes each semester; she creates skills labs and bring in speakers for the students to learn specific practice techniques such as documentation, self-care, professionalism, suicide risk assessment and intervention, and Motivational Interviewing. Ananda also develops and administers training for community partners and field instructors, focused on providing effective supervision and creating inclusive internship placements. “My work with the students in our undergraduate and graduate programs is rewarding because it results in thousands of hours of internship hours provided in our community. There are between 100-130 students in internship at a time and they each complete 220-330 hours per semester. depending on which program they are in. When you do the math you can see that a LOT of good work is being done in the community through the social work field education program.” “There is always work to be done with regard to creating more inclusive internship experiences by providing our community partners with support and resources to create a learning environment where they can thrive and their many talents can shine.” 👏 Thank you Ananda for all of your hard work and dedication to service learning! #uark #universityofarkansas #servicelearning #uofa #facultyhighlight #uarkfaculty

Meet Ananda Rosa who has been a board member for 4 years. Being in the school of social work @uarkansas she provides supervision, insight, and a shoulder to lean on whenever we need it. We cannot do this critical work without her. Thanks, Ananda, for being one of our sidekicks!
