Golden hour and watching our incredible Sound Designer @rosa_sweet_thing turn my bedroom into a recording studio.

Watching my friends work is something that is deeply special. I am so lucky to have the friends I do.

The amount of hard work and dedication the cast and crew are putting in is honestly incredible. The rehearsal process is a joyous, creative, and emotional journey, with each other one a new layer is uncovered and more depth is found.

The level of connection and confidence is growing, with each actor coming into their own and embodying the character with assuredness and fire.

Sound Designer.

I am a music producer and sound artist.

In my art I have always been drawn to the dark, the unusual and unsettling. I believe in the power that tones have to convey specific and intense emotion. I use layers of synthesis and found sound to create atmospheric sonic spaces. I am very excited to bring my creative vision to this production.

holy SHIT what a beautiful night celebrating @floralis_lc’s birthday 💕🖤💕

never been to a surprise party before (don’t those only happen in films??) never mind a surprise GIG. WE didn’t even know it was a gig

well done @somehowitshoney for organising this genuinely euphoric event, I don’t remember the last time I felt this happy 💕 also look at us showing up in matching black + pink print lmfao

happy birthday to @floralis_lc one of the kindest, funniest, most hardworking and musically brilliant people I’m lucky enough to call a friend. your compassion, courage and integrity have been an inspiration to me ever since we met. it made my heart so full to celebrate you with so many others who clearly feel the same

in other Rose-related news, we will both be performing at the next Kvll Colonisers Feb 12 in Brighton, supporting the amazing @dei_genetrix, plus Dust who I’m told is incredible

I’ll be bringing my degenerate mouth and hardest beats to this absolutely insane lineup raising money for Anti Raids groups

tickets going FAST so grab yours quick if you haven’t already: https://www.outsavvy.com/event/32301/kvll-colonisers-vol-3-anti-imperialist-music-night-with-girls-r

Happy new year 🖤🖤

quite happy with this fit but friends decided it needed extra apparently

considering 25 was mostly recovering from 24 I’m p happy with what I managed to achieve anyway, ESPECIALLY getting back together with @powderpaintband and the killer music video we made 🎵

so much more cool stuff coming 🦇 thank you everyone who worked with me or reminded me to stop working this year you’re all amazing

what a beautiful experience filming the Wait music video for @powderpaintband 🖤💗🖤

most of my video ideas (/ideas in general) never make it to release, so it’s amazing to get to bring a vision like this so fully to life

I’ve wanted to do the classic ‘band in a forest’ music video forever. it was the most fun, the most hot (we shot this mid-August) and so, SO much planning

you would not believe how many moving parts there were to pulling this off. it took months of work, not to mention needing to account for things going wrong on the day - which three major things did!! but thanks to contingency plans, staying calm, and the kindness of others we ended up with *exactly* what we wanted and still finished up in enough time to skedaddle before they locked us in the car park. I have truly never been so proud of or felt so in sync with a team thank you all so much 💓

not pictured: @vespermorningstar (cinematographer and photographer extraordinaire) @hbhayesfisher (location scouter, prop maker and equipment driver) @willfoxworld (emergency drum bringer) and Holly’s brother-in-law Michael who doesn’t even know us but jumped in last-minute when Holly’s van broke down en-route and fully saved the day 🙌🙌🙌
