💔 This is how my family lives in northern Gaza… We are forced to light fires to cook our food, and we have had to use nylon and plastic bottles to get the fire going because even the most basic necessities of life are no longer available to us. This is not the life we chose, but a harsh reality that has been imposed on us. Every day, we struggle to provide our family with a meal amid conditions that words cannot describe. We are not asking for luxury. We are simply asking for our right to live with dignity, to have a stove where we can cook our food safely, and a home that protects us from the harshness of life. 🚨 Children in Gaza need water today 💧 Today, Project Mohammed’s team delivered water to displaced families inside Gaza. Children waited beside their empty containers, watching for the water truck to arrive. As soon as distribution began, they rushed to fill them. For these children, water means something to drink and something their mothers can bring home for the family, even if it lasts only a short while. But children in other camps are still waiting. Please help us continue delivering water directly to families inside Gaza. This is my son Adam ❤️ from Gaza... Adam has very simple dreams, just like any child his age. He dreams of a clear sky without airplanes ✈️💔 He dreams of going outside and playing without fear. He dreams of going to school, carrying his backpack, and studying like other children. He dreams of laughing and simply being able to live his childhood in safety. Sometimes he asks me, “Why can’t we live like the other children?” And I don’t know what to tell him… 💔 His dream is not big. He only wants a safe childhood and a normal life. Let's talk brass. Specifically, UNLACQUERED brass. That dark patch around your faucet handle? Not dirty. That's brass doing exactly what it's supposed to do, and honestly, it's the best part. Here's the difference. Lacquered brass gets a clear sealant baked right over it, so it stays bright and even until that coating scratches or yellows. And once it does, there's no fixing it in place. It has to be stripped and redone, or you live with the damage. Unlacquered brass skips that step entirely. It's touching the air, picking up the oils from your hands, and slowly changing because of it. That's the PATINA everyone talks about. The 'living' finish. I promise that's not a flaw. Solid brass has held up on hardware for centuries because it doesn't rust and it doesn't need a coating to survive daily use. Compare that to plated finishes like chrome, nickel, or most polished golds. Those are a thin layer over a metal (sometimes brass!) underneath. Scratch through the plating and you're looking at something else entirely. Scratch through solid brass and you're still looking at brass. If you've been wanting to bring in a little age without a full renovation, this is about as low risk as it gets. One faucet, one set of pulls, and you're there.

For those of you who like a good backstory, I have a juicy one about HOW and WHY Clad Home just shaved hundreds (sometimes thousands!) of dollars off all our prices. (Hint: this is not “normal” brand behavior - but thankfully we’re not a “normal” brand.) . I’ve been pretty quiet on here lately, and it’s because I’ve been working nonstop to restore some measure of sanity to this insane spin cycle that we’re all currently living through. We got sick and tired of this predatory runaway inflation, so we did something about it! . I tried to make this short and sweet, but it turns out I had kind of a lot to say. If you can hang in ‘til the end, I promise it’s worth it! . Basically we just slashed our prices on everything, and erased 3 years of inflation. Onward and upward 🫶🏽 [The fine print] This is not a temporary sale - the new lower prices are here to stay! Everything goes into effect at the time of posting. We unfortunately cannot apply this discount to any past orders. This is because all of our new contracts with all our suppliers have gone into effect at the time of posting as well. And as a brand that has ALWAYS valued affordability and accessibility for ALL of our customers, we knew we had to do something drastic. . Our success came from shaving 1% here, 3% there, putting in the time to find new resources, negotiating like our lives depended on it, reimagining how our furniture is built, and not stopping until we got our prices back to where we knew they needed to be. . It would have been nearly impossible to pivot like this in a large corporation - our ability to adjust and change course is entirely due to our agility as a small, family-owned business, committed to doing right by our customers. . We've ALWAYS worked to make good design accessible to everyone. While some companies might have restructured and then pocketed the profits, we are THRILLED to pass these savings on to you!
