🎓 Senior Spotlight 🎓

Rosa “Ascana” Tavares
(Ace, SP ’23)

Today, we proudly celebrate Rosa as she joins the Stevens Institute of Technology Class of 2026, earning her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

Throughout her time at Stevens, Rosa has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and commitment to serving her community. She has been actively involved with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) and the Latin American Association (LAA), helping create spaces that empower and support students both academically and personally.

Rosa also served in numerous leadership roles, including Recruitment Chair, President, and Vice President of the Arizenthean Alpha Gamma Chapter of LTO. Through her passion for mentorship, community building, and service, she has made a lasting impact on the organizations and individuals fortunate enough to work alongside her.

As she embarks on this next chapter, we know her drive, resilience, and leadership will continue to open doors to new opportunities and success. While we celebrate her accomplishments today, we are even more excited to see all that she will achieve in the future.

Congratulations, Rosa! We are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished. No matter where life takes you, know that your LTO family will always be here for you, cheering you on, supporting you, and celebrating your successes every step of the way.

We wish you nothing but success, happiness, and fulfillment in all your future endeavors. Once family, always family. 💙🩶
