POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My journey from Delhi to Russia and back to Delhi for 3back to back performances with the Prasiddha Repertory for the International Festival for Children and Youth at Rosa Khutor , Hansraj School and Habitat centre was one I will always remember, and it is all thanks to Pratibha Prahlad Ma’am

First and foremost, my deepest gratitude to my Guru, Smt. Poornima Gururaja, for leading me to this path and for giving me the opportunity to perform under Pratibha Ma’am and with Prasiddha Repertory.

To be mentored by Pratibha Ma’am was in itself the biggest learning. Watching her hold a repertory together with such clarity, grace and vision was incredible.

Being part of the inaugural performance of the festival under her leadership was surreal. The rehearsals were intense and wonderful, our musicians were brilliant, and she made sure every single element came together as one.

And then there was Vande Mataram.

To perform it under Ma’am’s guidance, for an audience in Russia, carrying something so deeply connected to home through her vision and our dance, was the most special moment of the entire tour. It was humbling to see how her vision and our dance enthralled the audience at Russia and in Delhi !

This tour was also a very personal milestone for me. *Eight months after ACL surgery*, I found myself performing a heavily nritta-based margam something I had worked incredibly hard to return to. I am deeply grateful to Pratibha Ma’am for trusting me with this, and to my physiotherapists, my fellow dancers and everyone who was patient and supportive throughout.

To Pratibha Ma’am, the entire Prasiddha team, our wonderful musicians and the organising team thank you for this experience, for the learning, and for making this journey so memorable.

And to my Guru, Poornima Ma’am thank you for setting me on this road in the first place. ❤️

India to Russia, through dance. 🇮🇳🇷🇺

On the momentous occasion of the 80th year of our Independence, we @prasiddha_dance_repertory feel deeply honoured to have been invited by the Federation of the Russian Republic to perform at the inaugural Sirius Rosa-Khutor International Arts Festival.

Under the guidance of our @prathibhaprahlad ma’am we presented “RASHTRA YAJNA,” offering our art as an offering to the Nation. 🇮🇳🇷🇺✨

Performing at the beautiful @rosakhutor_sochi was an absolute dream, made even more special by the wonderfully cheerful and encouraging audience.

Endless gratitude to Padma Shri @prathibhaprahlad Ma’am for bestowing us with this incredible opportunity and for your invaluable guidance. It has been an absolute joy to bring your choreography to life and to be a proud part of @prasiddha_dance_repertory

I also extend my deepest thanks to my Guru, @mithunshyam Sir, for showing me the path, guiding me every step of the way, and standing like a rock beside me. I’am truly lucky to have a Guru like him.

A heartfelt thank you to all the fellow dancers and musicians as well for sharing this stage and making this trip an extremely memorable one together! 🙏
