We were all surprised when a gaggle of witches flew into the market on Saturday! They know the best spot in Half Moon Bay to get fresh local produce and hand made artisanal food.
.
Santa was caught shopping for fresh carrots 🥕 for his raindeer 🦌 - and to support @coastsidehope with the Adopt a Family program. Stop by this upcoming Saturday to find out how you can help too!

My kids had so much fun finding the little ghosts at Rosalind Bakery! 👻 They have a blackberry latte now that is delightful. This is definitely one of our favorite spots in Pacifica & we will miss it dearly when we hit the road! #rosalindbakery #pacifica #pacificacalifornia #bayareacoffee #sanfrancisco

We visit farmers' markets everywhere we go. It’s kind of our thing.

And we found some really good ones while we were away. But there’s something about coming back to our own @coastsidefarmersmarket.

I wander around deciding we absolutely need things. @larry.miller.hmb trails behind, funding the operation. We all have our roles.

My first porch pumpkin of the season came home from @simmsorganics, along with red kuri and kabocha squash. @roslindbakery had olive citrus loaf and seed bread, so obviously both. Our new friends @aphgandumplings2026 loaded us up with dumplings and dips, and @cipponerifamilyfarms had almonds and persimmons that weren’t staying at the market without me.

By the time we left, the bags were heavy enough that Larry made me carry my own pumpkin. And a bag.

I handled it like a pro.

This is pretty much how I like to cook: buy what looks ridiculously good, bring it home, figure out what wants to go together, season it well and don’t make dinner harder than it needs to be.

Damn, it’s good to be home.
