How freaking cute is this place?!
Coffee, cozy corners, and bunnies casually roaming around like they own the place. 🐇☕️

Finding little hidden gems like this is one of my favorite parts of traveling!

Every year Bunnie Geer leads a group of riders from Temecula to Rosarito. Every year the group gets bigger. Every year it gets better.
As Executive Director of @irongoddessmotorcycleshow , an all-female motorcycle show, she knows what it means to build a community on two wheels. What started as a small ride has turned into a real tradition, and one she looks forward to more than almost anything else on the calendar.
The culture, the community, and a ride that keeps finding new riders every season. That is what keeps her coming back to Baja, year after year.

Worth it? Yes — but go in with a game plan. Two hours goes FAST.

The Rosarito Seafood Festival has been running for 34 years, and this was my first time — 10 food tastings, 5 wine pours, and every chef in Baja trying to outdo each other with ceviche, aguachile, and about a thousand ways to prepare a sardine (I counted eight before I tapped out 😅).

The best bite? Clam ceviche from @mariscoselangeltijuana — bright, refreshing, perfect. Close second: the oysters from @occioresta

But here's what I didn't expect: the booths were run by the actual chefs and owners, so you're not grabbing a sample from a stranger — you're talking to the person who made it. That's rare at a festival this size.

Then the sun goes down over the pier, the salsa band starts, and nobody's in a hurry anymore. 🌅💃

Worth it? Yes — but go in with a game plan. Two hours goes FAST.

Come hungry. Leave obsessed. 🦞🌊

I went to Rosarito expecting tacos and $1 tequila. I came home thinking about a yellowtail tiradito for three days straight.

The food scene here has completely leveled up — and these are the spots that did it for me:

🍽️ @occioresta — Fine dining with beach-shack vibes and a yellowtail tiradito I'm still dreaming about. Waiting on its Michelin star, if you ask me.

🏡 @elarroyococinamexicana — A tiny backyard farmstand restaurant run by Gaby and Mario. Homemade machaca burritos and chilaquiles that taste like someone's abuela made them. Weekends only.

🦞 @casalangosta — Puerto Nuevo lobster from one of the oldest lobster houses in the village. Rice, beans, handmade tortillas, and a whole lot of butter.

🍺 @colectivosurf — Beer, wine, mezcal, AND their own coffee. The Japanese lager with the bluefin tuna tostada? Perfection.

🥑 @punta_bahia1 — Built right into the cliff with ocean views for days. That salmon avocado toast was almost too pretty to eat. Almost.

🏰 @portalesdegarcia — Disneyland for foodies. Chicharrones with guac, fresh oysters, a passionfruit mezcalita, and a private tasting room up a flower-covered spiral staircase.

Rosarito grew up, and the food is the proof. 🇲🇽

Which one are you hitting first? 👇
