Cosy up this autumn with @rosasthai's NEW Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot (£27) made for sharing 🇹🇭❤️ Being in central London, we were SHOCKED by the generous amount of seafood, from bouncy squid and THICC prawn balls to smoky grilled jumbo prawns 🦐🌶️ Despite being full of flavour, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't too salty but very light and balanced!!

Their Pad See Ew (£15.10) is such a classic and I absolutely couldn't resist — definitely get the juicy pork belly!! 🤤🤤

We finished with the Crispy Banoffee Roti (£7.05), which was a fried roti stuffed generously with banana and caramel and served with vanilla ice cream 😋😋 I don't think it's traditional but definitely worth trying!!

We also appreciated the commitment to quality, as we were informed that their iconic mango sticky rice wasn't available as their mangoes that day were just not sweet enough — very respectable 🫡🫡 The service was attentive and excellent and the vibes were perfect for a rainy autumn evening 🫶🫶

I’m just a normal Thai girl working in the UK missing a little 7-11 in my life. So I’m giving Rosa’s Thai food team a little nudge 🥹

Perfect cosy weather food | ad
@rosasthai has their Tom Yum Seafood Hotpot, a fun soup packed with different ingredients and flavours that are perfect for colder days. They add Mama noodles to this iconic Thai dish, which we thought was a great addition. Definitely something we'll plan to try at home. The flavours were really good, and there's a great selection of prawns and veg too. It's also a fun dish to share with the table.

There's plenty more to choose from on the menu, from rice and noodles to stir fries. We also tried their Drunken Noodles (Pad Kee Mao) with pork belly, which definitely has a kick to it🌶️ Their Chicken and Rice (Khao Mun Gai) was tasty too.
With all the spice, it was nice to have some Thai iced milk tea to go with it!

We were pleasantly surprised by the flavours here. This might not be the most authentic Thai spot in Edinburgh, but it's not far off. Have you visited here? Let us know what you think!

Here's our review of our lunch at @rosasthai in Reading!🧡➡️➡️

#thaifood #lunch #lunchideas #foodreview #foodie

For the main meals, the King prawn fried rice (Khao Pad) was good, but the soy sauce was a bit too much on this occasion. On the whole, it was a pretty decent dish. Worth a try!

The Stir Fried Flat Chicken Noodles (Pad See Ewe) were great and so filling, with generous (and huge) chicken chunks. Really good!

For our starters, the Vegetable spring rolls (Por Pia Tod) were quite addictive as they were really good, but only three per portion. We definitely wouldn't have minded a whole plate of these 😋😋

The Pork skewers (Moo Ping) were quite juicy and flavourful, we enjoyed them very much.

We also tried the set lunch at another time. Set lunch allowed us to taste a bit of three dishes at once. It was a good combination, with the Fried rice, Thai Calamari (Plamuek Tod) and Stir Fried flat noodles (Pad See Ewe) being quite filling and flavourful, and tasting great- both individually and together.

Who’s up for a steaming bowl of this? 👀🍜
