Today’s #wipwednesday is my niece’s soon to be tooth fairy pocket door hanger! With a canvas from @saturnaliastitching / @roseacolyte. Somehow the anchor knot of my invisible thread got dislodged since I started sewing this in a low lit room last night lol. Sooo I need to correct that (how?!). And does anyone have tips on how to hand sew a semi circle pocket on the back? 🤪 I’ll figure it out but jeez, this small scale doesn’t make it easy!!

When I told my niece I was making her something for her 5th birthday she asked “why don’t you just get it from the store?!” 🥲 if she doesn’t like it now hopefully she will later!! 😍

I’ve become obsessed with stitching on theme, so of course I had to match canvases to books! Let me know what you think of these pairings 👀

Taylor Jenkins Reid is one of the few authors that I pick up a book immediately if her name is on it.

Crazy Rich Asians has a special place in my heart. In the movie, there is such a powerful scene in which the female lead (Rachel Chu) and her boyfriend’s mother (Eleanor Young) play a game of mahjong against each other.

When I saw the “I like you just the way you are” canvas I immediately thought of Grace and Rocky from Project Hail Mary.

The Deep End by @alihazelwood is such a great book of hers. I fell in love with Hazelwood’s work because of her consistent representation of women in STEM who are accomplished and determined. She does STEM romances like no other.

Even though I read “The Girl who Drank the Moon” when I was in elementary school I still think of it from time to time. I highly recommend reading it if you’re looking for something magical in a dystopian town

Charlotte’s Web made me cry. Especially the movie. I was fiercely attached to Charlotte.

We are so excited to catch up with our designer friends at Fall Market @autumnneedlepointreunion this year! Round three of previews is here, and the preorder link is open in our bio! One form per item please!

The form isn’t just for canvases, it can also be used for needle minders and other items posted by designers! If you see something posted by a designer attending Fall Market that we haven’t officially shared yet, feel free to use the same preorder link for it!

Per usual, we will take one of everything from @saturnaliastitching because it is all so perfect. @saturnaliastitching might end up on Mark’s ban list for Brooke, for rooms she is not allowed to shop in alone…because she’ll buy everything. 🤣

The Nutcracker collection from @stitchingwithstacey is just darling and would make a perfect addition to any Christmas tree. 🎄

We are not going to chronically overthink preordering some of these cute canvases from @poppyjstitches. 😉 Another excellent addition to our Christmas trees would be the Twelve Days of Christmas set from @susanrobertsneedlepoint. 🥁

If you’ve followed us for a while, you know we’ve got a soft spot for butterflies, and this colorful canvas from @kate_dickerson_needlepoint is no exception! 🦋 #autumnneedlepointreunion #fallneedlepointmarket #ndlptnation #localneedlepointshop #needlepointcanvases

Just barely won thread chicken, with one more strand left. My Chinese zodiac animal is a tiger, so I love any tiger canvas. This is my second Saturnalia tiger to stitch (and I have Christmas Tiger in my stash too). Thanks to @roseacolyte @saturnaliastitching for the cute little stitch. I’m going to turn him into a patch for my canvas needlepoint tote.
