I don’t think people are just looking for a workout.

I think they’re looking for a place where they belong.

That’s what we’re building.

A family.

A place where nobody fights alone. Where your wins are celebrated, your hard days don’t go unnoticed, and the people around you push you to become better every single day.

This is bigger than fitness.

It’s about becoming the best version of yourself while helping the people next to you do the same.

If you’ve been looking for that feeling… that place… those people…

Come find your family.

Because culture is everything.

F*ck the system.

Build the culture.

They don’t all go according to plan… 😂 But that’s half the fun. Every wipeout, missed shot, and “let’s try that again” moment is just another reason to get back on the bike🤘🏌️‍♂️

Would you try the EA golf bike? 👇

Machine guns, tattoos, and a community that saved our lives.

We love you all.

This is just the beginning of the Defiant Culture.

What does “Culture Over Systems” even mean?

The systems matter. Training matters. Nutrition matters. The plan matters.

They teach you how to train, eat, recover, and reach your goals.

But the most powerful part of a transformation is never what happens on the outside.

Listen to anyone who has truly changed their life. They rarely talk about the weight they lost or the muscle they built.

They talk about who they became.

Because what was holding them back was never just the food or the training.

It was their environment. Their standards. The people around them. The story they kept telling themselves.

That’s where culture comes in.

Motivation fades. Discipline gets tested. Life happens. Injuries, loss, stress, work, family.

Culture is what holds you up when life gets heavy. It reminds you who you are and who you said you wanted to become.

This is all in or nothing.

People come for the systems.

They transform because of the culture.

Culture Over Systems.

This week we welcomed the newest member into our family.

A reminder that health and fitness isn’t for ego or attention.

It’s for your family.

In a world telling you CONSTANTLY when to quit…

Be Defiant.

For your family.

DEFY MY BROKEN BODY.

My entire life I was told I wasn’t enough.

From college sports…
To the military…
To the fire department…

Not strong enough.
Not smart enough.
Not fast enough.

Then came the injuries.
The surgeries.
The constant daily pain.

Doctors told me to slow down.
Accept reality.
Accept the “new normal.”

But laying there barely able to walk while my pregnant wife was rushed into an emergency delivery…

Something in me changed.

I remember thinking:

F*ck this.

Some people call it the “f*ck it button” moment in life.

Because once you press that button… there’s no going back.

And let me tell you something..

That’s where the Defiant Training Method was born.

The moment you stop giving your life and your future to everybody else…
and finally take your fate into your own hands.

Because everybody has something in life trying to break them.

You either accept it.
Or you defy it.

12K SCHOLARSHIP WINNER ⚔️ BUBBA KUKAHIKO

A father. A firefighter. A leader.

A man who continued to serve his community while watching his hometown burn.

On August 8th, while the Maui fires tore through Lahaina, Bubba was on the front lines protecting the people around him.

He watched the town he grew up in disappear.
He watched history burn.
He watched brothers continue fighting beside him while knowing their own homes were gone too.

No communication.
No way to know if family was safe.
No time to stop.

Just show up.
Do the job.
Keep going.

And when the fires stopped, the weight didn’t.

Search and recovery began.
Long days. Sleepless nights.
Carrying the pain of an entire community while still serving it every single day.

This is bigger than fitness.

This is about resilience.
About leadership.
About continuing to stand tall when life gives you every reason to break.

Bubba embodies what Defiant stands for:
Strength. Sacrifice. Brotherhood. Resilience.

Welcome to Defiant, brother. 🤝

DEFY SELF DOUBT.

The funniest guy in the room.

Was silently fighting battles nobody knew about.

Anxiety. Depression. Self-hate.

Even battling an eating disorder while trying to feel good enough in his own skin.

Please take a moment and listen to Hunter’s INCREDIBLE testimony.

Because this is what happens when you stop suffering in silence…

and start fighting back.

Proud is an understatement brother.
