RAFFLE TICKETS AVAILABLE NOW! Every year the OIFM raffles off 3 baskets full of wonderful goodies from our vendor community to raise funds for our Vendor Support Fund.

Tickets available in 2 locations: every Saturday 10-2 at the OIFM official booth and daily 10-5 at Orcas Arts & Gifts (245 Main Street) leading up to the Harvest Festival on Saturday 9/26. Can’t make it to town but still want to enter? Venmo with your name and phone number to (Venmo) oifarmersmarket and we will text you photos of your tickets to you before we drop them in the box!

Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. All tickets are good for all 3 drawings, held on Saturday 9/26.

Each year three lucky winners will each receive one basket’s worth of items from our vendors, including handmade items, gift certificates, flowers, produce, and so much more! All ticket sales revenue will go towards the OIFM Vendor Support Fund.

This kind of assistance is a big deal for so many and last year’s raffle alone brought in $3,000 that we were able to give back to vendors who applied for the assistance this year.

I have an ask.

The Orcas Island Farmers Market means a lot to me. Almost 13 years ago, I began my solo jewelry design journey in a rickety borrowed 10x10 tent.

I’m now the Vice President of the OIFM Board of Directors, and I have put my heart and soul into saving our precious market through the rampages of COVID.

Our Farmers Market is a core of our community - where many small businesses, farmers, and food producers have gotten their starts. Some have even gone on to become brick and mortar locations. Everyone starts somewhere, and for Orcas, the Farmers Market is a true hub.

The OIFM is participating in the Orcas Island Community Foundation’s Sprinf GiveOrcas Fundraising campaign. We are one of 26 local nonprofits asking our community for help to reach our goals. The goal for the OIFM is to pay our rent to the County to use the Village Green. Yes, it’s expensive for us!!!

We are only at 33% of our total goal with only 3 days left. And today, until midnight, there’s a chance for us to earn a bonus $1,000 donation. We aren’t even on the leaderboard but I still have hope. We need around 40 individual donations of at least $10 each to earn our chance at the prize for today.

And the bigger picture is that we have 3 days left to get to 100% to help keep our Farmers Market running. Please help, donate, share, anything.
