After a sweaty sesh at @tribe.marrickville I guided everyone through a 20 minute breathwork session.

The intention was to calm the nervous system and move from sympathetic to parasympathetic. This helped relax the mind and body, along with speeding up the recovery.

We also focused on exhaling excessive CO2 produced during the workout, and improved uptake and delivery of O2 to the tissues.

Thank you so much @lululemonausnz for organising and to @rosemcevoy and @james.magnussen for introducing breathwork to your awesome community.

Took it to @tribe.marrickville last weekend for one of the best Performance sessions to date ✊🏽

So good to see some new faces jumping in on the action 😍 Our Performance Program currently features on the @tribe.hq Brookvale class schedule on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday evenings, as well as our Big Saturday session. You can expect to see it pop up on the schedule at our new @tribe.marrickville location in the coming months!

Our vision is simple. To give everyday athletes a platform to take their training to the next level and into the sport of CrossFit. We take on local and national competitions throughout the year, as well as taking part in the CrossFit Games season ✊🏽 Our program caters to ALL skill levels, and we encourage anyone who’s looking to compete in the “sport of fitness” to get involved.

If you know you’re in and / or you’d like more information, please get in touch via email to register your interest for our Brookvale or Marrickville locations 👊🏽
