J Melin - Soon It Will Brighten Again. It will be alright, my friend. If you are here, you bypassed the algorithm to find some peace in your restless soul. You are alright as you are. It will be fine. Fuck the abyss. You'll find your way up and out. Here's a song for the lost boys and girls locked up, miserable. We are them. Those who still holding themselves up, with some dream of belonging. Take the Karma and run. Rage rage against the dying of light. Do not go gently into that dark night. #melancholicmusic #indiefilm #hope #alternativerock #newwavemusic #lostboys #lostgirls #nokings #sadbanger

SOON IT WILL BRIGHTEN AGAIN
Soon it will brighten again
Soul unfreezes
It resurrects
Time to call some forgotten friend
Say hello how is it going
are you still there
didn't want to admit it
but I was pulled into the vortex
Did you become bullets in someone's magazine
and get shot out like a glass bead
in the zero sum game
unimportantly
Soon it will brighten again
The kings will fall
Keep your thoughts cold
time to let go
You've never been my friend
we got into some return
some crack i could not see it
I had to counsel
had become so addicted to vanity
I thought I had to open when I must close
Soon it will brighten again
where have you been my friend
shooting out like a bullet
thrashing the body
is killing in cold blood
all you have in your tramadol brain
when you are floating forward
in your peripheral on your bike
I saw the boys and girls in here
locked up
miserable
but still holding themselves up
with some kind of dream of
belonging to a place which was theirs
let the kings fall
is that all
is that all
you have in your mind
Soon it will brighten again
It will be alright, my friend

Arrows - the new record from J Melin that you didn't know that you already loved. Listen now https://jmelin.bandcamp.com/album/arrows
J Melin's Arrows is a collection of rocknroll stories, punk, grunge, psych pop, garage and poetry in motion. Written in a flow, with the principle of capturing something on maximum a few takes. Arrows is a counter-weight to the polished, the boxed, the inhuman that rides our minds these days. Every song is an arrow into the eye of the storm. It's a story of our distant times, where we sit and scroll our minds away while the world is burning; to listen to the whispers of noise angels and the forgotten misfits. No chorus needed. It's a call to reclaim our creativity, it's a record that doesn't rely on likes or views, it's simple music from the heart, made with love and anguish over the state of times. About the people who were not carved out for this world. It's a revolution you can dance to. J Melin is a writer and director who played music all his life. It's a call to find one's own music in a world drenched in AI Slop and insensitivity. Melancholia and Joy walk hand in hand on this gritty, raw, emotional album where Melin's poetry and stories about misfits and those cool enough to love - dressed in a handsome fucking rocknroll outfit. Cinematic, dark and observational. This is a album for anyone who loves hand-made music as energies and light through remedies. A little bit blues for the soul. Rocknroll without achilles heal.
