Some remains of #rwsweeps which never got to see 3d. Simply because this required me to build a family of accessories which went along. Didn't have the time to follow it up. But in between I do add in thoughts if it comes by. Done with a fountain pen. This is my true form of ideation where I document my thoughts as a dialogue for me to reflect, compare and evolve. Because design is about progression and not just differentiation.

So the spacer for the face shield has finally surfaced. Was thinking along the lines of gradienty density cushioning materials such as Phylon used by #Nike. I am envisioning the sides to be more sturdy for support while it the porouness gradually increases towards the front. Hopefully that helps in keeping a soft contact point while being breathable. Definitely needs some material engineering and ergonomics test to come to the right size. But I feel at peace with this as an idea of an archetype for @renderweekly.
As a bonus swipe to see the material graph of the gradient density Foam material. Tried to keep it without displacement map to keep it light and snappy to render.

Rhino3d to model and @keyshot3d to render

Content shown here is a concept and is not done in association with Nike. Also this is a concept aimed at a state where face shield could be the new normal for the everyday consumer. Hope it doesn't resort to that. .

Thought it's good to give the Nike UV+ one more shout. It aims at ensuring that your equipment is clean and the level of cleanliness isn't judged by the human eye by a guess. Additionally the near UV rays kills bacteria as in hospitals and butcher shops.. .

This was another shot which didn't make the cut for my submission. This lighting didn't do justice to the translucent umbrella. Also I couldn't decide between the temperatures for this one. Do you prefer the warm or the cooler version? Let me know in the comments.

#ofwidc submission 01 | Keeping this loose and unclean. Good to take a break from actual design work with some good old sketching. More to follow. .

HealthE - A digital thermometer which aims at simplifying the experience of taking a temperature, envisioning it becoming more of a routine, similar to weighing yourself. 🌡

The dot matrix UI combined with emoticons, manages to dial down the medical factor, in conjunction with a simple app which tracks your temperature as well as add other symptoms if any along with your medication.
