WOODLAND GAMES 2026! Kiki gals are coming back for you! 🐛🏅🪲🏆🌳🎉

Catch us on Saturday 12th September for a Kikimora DJ set between 1pm-4pm at @thewoodlandgames in Stirchley 🎶

We had the best time throwing the afterparty in 2024, full of silly bingo, mushroom-made electronics (thanks @wat3rfl0wer!) and disco dancing 🪩

We’ll be bringing the disco dancing bit back to soundtrack your afternoon for this edition - expect lots of wonky wonders and psychedelic sounds!

See you at the starting line?! 🏃‍♀️

Next artist to introduce to you is the incredible @ganna_music , who is joining us at Lost in the Hills festival as part of the @kikimorarecords takeover.

This is a rare opportunity to the acclaimed Ukrainian singer-composer, live in the UK. Using loops, effects, samples and synth, Ganna builds vast, living soundscapes in real
time, blending the raw authenticity of Ukrainian village singing with modern composition, improvisation and electronic texture. The result is unearthly yet deeply human.

Her repertoire draws from research trips across Ukraine, where she collected songs and stories from elders in the Carpathians and villages near Kyiv and Poltava. On stage, those field-gathered fragments become something electric - tradition carried forward as wildly magnetic performances.

Kikimora Records is an independent Midlands label /promoter championing imaginative, amorphous music and known locally for hosting shows that are friendly, fun and wondrously wonky. Find them on Friday 8 May partying up on the garden terrace at the 2026 edition of Lost In The Hills, where they’ve concocted a folkloric fete with live music, a workshop and a DJ set that unfolds as dusk settles in...

As well as a live set from Ganna, you’re invited to warm up your vocal cords and join Polish musician @karolinawegrzynmusic for a cathartic Slavic singing workshop - earthy, open-hearted and no experience required. And topping it all off a Kikimora DJ set of psychedelic disco treats - there won’t be mushroom on the dancefloor! 🍄

You can get a feel for all the music at the festival with our Playlist - find a link on the website:

The Wardwick, one of our venues for 2026, is truly one of Derby’s iconic buildings. This 19th century grade II listed Flemish Gothic library played host to some phenomenal performances last year from @theutopiastrong @pushthepram and more… @orbital ‘s @philhartnoll playing in here on 21st March is going to be pretty special 〰️〰️〰️ 📷 @rise_again_photography_uk

With less than eight weeks to go until Psychic Dancehall2026, we’re looking back on Kikimora’s curation last year - from spellbinding soundscapes from @thesilverfield to mutated dub from @soborgnost - who are you looking forward to this year? 📷 @rise_again_photography_uk @oldbort #womeninelectronicmusic #experimentalelectronicmusic #whatsonderby

Snowy greetings from the Kiki Gals ❄️🧚🏻‍♀️✨

After some well needed winter hibernation, we’re entering our third (!) year of Kikimora fun with weird music treats galore 🍄

We make friendly events and craft releases purely for the love of it. Sharing amorphous sounds in and from the Midlands makes us happy, and we’re here to spread that DIY joy with you.

Thanks for being on the journey so far folks, and we hope to catch you down the front of a show sometime in 2026 - check out our upcoming gigs at kikimorarecords.com 💕

What a SPATIAL time we had!! ♦️🍄💫

Thanks to all who came to @pan_pan_______ last week to experience the 360’ Audio System in full force.

The textural, percussive sounds of @kaichareunsy’s new music from Laos and the mesmeric tape loops and glitchy songs of @sm__sher were perfect to immerse ourselves in!

More from @kikimorarecords & Pan-Pan in the new year as welcome back Sm^sher’s band @voka_gentle on Sat 21 Feb ✨
