Some of the best work happens before anyone picks up a brush or an instrument.

Over dinner. Over dessert. Over just sitting still long enough to actually talk to somebody.

That's the part of camp nobody puts in the syllabus, and it might be the most important one. Connection first. Creation follows.

Come break bread with people who make things.

What If Summer Camp Never Ended?

What would it feel like to wake up surrounded by people who believe in your work? To spend your days making something real with your hands. To sit around a campfire at night with people you trust. To be tired in the best way—creative tired, connected tired.

What if rest wasn't a break from life, but part of it? What if creativity wasn't something you did alone, but something you did together? What if the ocean and the forest and the sky were your studio?

This is Camp Denman. Creative people in one space saying: slow down, make, connect, belong.

This is what we're building. This is what summer camp feels like when you never have to leave.

So, we started a pickleball podcast 🎤🎧

We’re Lydia & Rosslyn, friends who spend a lot of time talking about pickleball, the people who play it, and all the random conversations that seem to happen around the court. Eventually, we thought... maybe we should just record them.

In this very first (and very casual) episode, we’re introducing ourselves, talking about why we decided to start Courtside Confessional, what we’re hoping to explore, and what you can expect from the podcast.
We’re interested in everything around pickleball just as much as the game itself — the friendships, dating, social dynamics, culture, drama, fashion, lifestyle, ridiculous stories, hot takes, and whatever else we inevitably end up talking about.

And yes, you can quite literally hear pickleball happening in the background while we record this. Consider it your first official courtside experience!!

We don’t really know exactly where this podcast is going yet, and honestly, that’s part of the fun. We’re just excited to see what conversations come out of it.

Now streaming wherever you listen to podcasts! 🔗 In our prof for a 5 min intro!

This is what we see from above.

37 acres of ocean, mountains, forest, and light. The kind of place that stops you mid-conversation because the sky is doing something you need to witness.

Every sunset here feels like a reminder: you came here to slow down. To notice. To make something real with people who get it.

This is Camp Denman from the air. But the real magic? It’s on the ground. In the studios, around the tables, in the conversations that remind you what you’re capable of creating.
